Well Neal and RH have been living in the EF for a year, along with everyone else. I suspect everyone is friends by this point
Eh I need to see the relationship develop on screen but clearly this is early on so I’m sure what’s happening in the present, happened in the past.
Robin Hood’s main storyline is Regina. It’s not Neal, so I think that’s where the development for him is going towards. That romance is his main story arc.
That’s why I believe the person close to Robin on the gurney is either his son or one of his merry men and I think this will tie in the past to someone assisting Robin in the same way(likely Regina) because that’s where the storyline is.
Plus I’ve always had a hunch that Robin and Regina would meet through something happening to Roland.

Oh I agree, I want to see the relationship on screen before I make any more judgements. But Neal and RH already have a history on screen; Charming and Hook and RH do not, as of right now. Yes they’ve all been living together for a year but we haven’t seen that play out. Which is why Neal might still be a candidate for “who is on the gurney” because as the show stands RIGHT NOW, he ties those men together.

Again I agree. And I keep saying that Roland is a very strong candidate for gurney-man. But RH has had other interactions with other characters outside of Regina. In fact he hasn’t met Regina at all. RH is the kind of guy who would be concerned for everyone, even an acquaintance that he knew for maybe a day or two. Neal and RH did have a few heart to hearts before Neal arrived in NL. There is a bond there, even if it’s a smaller one. But again, over the course of a year, I suspect RH becomes friendly with most everyone.

Good questions. What did happen to gurney-man? Are we talking physical accident (missing limb, shot, other external evidence) or are we talking something more magical–like a curse. Because he’s asking “who did this” I think it’s probably a magical ailment.

Maybe the magical ailment is a physical one like is being turned into something like a scarecrow, a tin man, a lion or a flying monkey. Or maybe just simply turning someone green. 🙂

Ooooooooooooooooooooooh.
This I like. In the books, I believe the Tin Man was once a regular man who was converted (Watcher: am I remember this right?)

So, first thought is…sleeping curse! But that wouldn’t lead to drama if it was Roland. The remedy is obvious and easy. True love from Robin. However, if that was Neal on the gurney, and he was under a sleeping curse, well now, that’s huge drama because with Rumple gone, there are only two possible solutions to awaken Neal and they live in New York.
This would also put Hook in quite a moral dilemma. Should he rescue his friend and potentially lose his love? Would TLK work this time? No memory, no true love. Is there still true love?

I’m going with Neal on the gurney under a sleeping curseI highly doubt we’re looking at a sleeping curse/TLK early on in the season, those are season ending plot lines. This is at the start of 3B. Probably a curse by the WW which likely can only be solved by Regina and this could be why it’s Roland. In the past Robin and Regina could have met through Roland being hurt or injured and Regina saved him and the same thing could happen in the present as it did in the past.
My bet is Roland or one of his merry men going from the fact the focus is on him and you can see that the person on the gurney means something to him.
I don’t for one second believe it’s Neal or Rumple.
