I hope the new series is a success and the story, the characters and the writing will be really good. Should be since Jane Espenson is one of the writers. I haven’t read the article but the infographic is really pretty.

Interesting. I wasn’t sold on OUATinWL until I saw the promo and now I’m all for it.

I am not going to watch it I started to read the book and never finished it, couldn’t even get through the movie. The girl who plays Alice in my opinion isn’t that cute and it looks to start out just like most movies do which also turned me off.

I think the success of OUATinWL will depend on if they can keep the story tight and concise. It has the potential (with Alice and Cyrus apparently world hopping) to become too crowded and too convoluted. However, there is no denying that A and E know how to write love stories and take interesting twists on classic stories.

HappyEndings: I am not going to try and change your mind, to each their own and whatnot, but this isn A and E’s version of the Alice myth. It’s not a retelling of Carrol’s story, just like nothing in OUAT is a strict retelling of their other fairy tales. All we’ve seen is a 5 min or so trailer, some of which was shots of OUAT. We really don’t know much about the show itself. Comic Con should clear somethings up. A tweeted that there were going to be some surprises.
