Poll time!
Who thinks Hook will follow his “good form” advice and tell Emma and the rest of them that Neal is alive?
Who thinks Hook will not tell Emma and look out for himself and his feelings?

I have hope that Killian will be the one to tell Emma that Neal is alive. Whether he will before she finds out from someone else is a different matter entirely. But for Hook’s sake, I hope he does, since that is the only way he’ll continue to experience real character growth. Hook needs to make the unselfish choice here because he wants the best for Neal, whom Colin O’Donoghue says Hook regards almost like a son. As Milha’s boy, Baelfire represents the would-be step-son that Hook let leave his ship before, and so now it’s up to Hook to decide whether to save Bae this time.

I think he won’t, because it is Hook and he will try to stall
I think Hook has really hit the whole rock and a hardplace thing here

October 27, 2013 at 9:18 pm #219174RumplesGirlKeymasterI hope he will because I want to see more character growth from Hook. I struggle with him sometimes (he gives me whiplash) so I’d like to see him really set on the path of “good form.”
I think he will come very close to doing it but then Emma may find out on her own. (because TV drama is predictable at times)

My opinion is Hook isn’t going to come right back and tell Emma that Neal is alive. He’s going to be tormented and troubled and stew over it for awhile. But Emma does find out about Neal. She’s gazing at the mirror hoping to see sign of Henry once again, but Henry threw the mirror into the weeds and it landed cracked and face up. What if she sees the cage above and Neal trying to escape. The mirror is face up and can reflect what is happening above it. That’s how she discovers Neal’s alive.

I like it. I do think he isn’t going to come out and tell her. I think it would be very out of character if he just marches up to her and says, “oh btw, luv. Neal’s life. Just found out after we snogged.” Like all our “villains” he’s a bit selfish. He’s going to sit on it. But I think he will come very very very close but then Emma finds out on her own, again cause TV drama is predictable.

Hook certainly struggles between being selfish and helping others. He let Bae leave his ship once before. While I want Hook to tell Emma, I think Rumple will meet up with the group and be the one who first spills the beans that Neal is alive. And Lord help Killian if Rumple ever finds out Emma and Neal were snogging.

Good point. Add on top of that fact that Emma doesn’t know that Killian seduced Milha, Bae’s mom. Killian hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with Emma yet.
