ParticipantI have a feeling the answer is yes, because Regina has yet to meet Robin Hood. When she does, they’ll likely fall in love, perhaps making Robin Hood the person she now loves most. That would make it possible perhaps for Regina and Henry to see each other again one day. Just a thought.

ParticipantHmmmm I do believe Regina shall be reunited with Henry, who wont know who she is and won’t care which will break her heart. I don’t think RH is going to take henrys place in her heart. No woman should allow a man to take the place of her CHILD in their heart and if that’s the direction they take it in I shall be highly upset and everyone will never hear the end of it

KeymasterI think somehow they will. Maybe Regina’s noble sacrifice will override the price of magic? It was a really heart breaking watching that.

ParticipantI’m confident they’ll be reunited. It was a massive sacrifice that Regina had to make, but I’m sure that as part of her redemption arc, they’ll find a way to bring them back together.

I have a feeling that the first few of the second half will have Regina and Henry separated, not being able to see each other. I suspect this is why Regina is throwing things in the promo

ParticipantLove is a lot bigger than one person. You can love a man and a child, just as you can love both (or all, if you have more than two) of your parents. It doesn’t have to be a replacement.

ParticipantI believe so, but the price of magic will have to be paid another way then. or the undoing the curse will have to be undone.
For evidence though, look to 104: Cinderella was not able to see Thomas again until her debt was transferred to Emma. So someone’s going to have to pay the price in some way.

ParticipantThat was really heartbreaking but I’m sure they’ll be reunited somehow! I think this episode had people like Regina making a HUGE sacrifice to show that they’ve redeemed themselves and in a way, sought to undo the damage they caused. It doesn’t erase everything but it was a huge step in showing that they’ve changed for the better.
As heartbreaking as it was for Regina, I really love the callback to pilot where she told Emma “this is my gift to you” but instead of ruining Snowing’s wedding, it was giving Emma happy memories. I assume she left a piece of herself in there in the form of having his name be kept the same as well. (I know many wondered how Emma would somehow think to name him Henry since that was a Regina thing but I’m pretty sure she put that thought in there somewhere). Lana killed it this episode. So good and such a sacrifice but I think she’ll see him again for sure, it just may take awhile.
Hope if there IS a price that it’s not too much! I want them all to be happy and right now they basically all need a hug. =/

I’m not saying that Regina would ever stop loving Henry just because she falls in love with Robin Hood. There are many different types of love: romance, family, friends. Currently, the reason Regina and Henry can’t be together ever again is because he is the person she loves most. Yet, if Regina were to fall in love with Robin Hood, he might become the most important person in her life going forward, now that Henry is out of the picture. That is not to say a husband could ever take the place of a child or vice-versa, but in terms of importance, Robin Hood would then become the most important person in Regina’s life. There are seasons to every person’s life. It’s like when a child leaves home for college, and suddenly a mother is left wondering what next to pour her heart into. In Regina’s case, she might pour her entire heart into loving Robin Hood. It’s similar to the debate about whether Belle or Baelfire is truly Rumple’s idea of a happy ending. Well, the answer is both, but either one of them could be the most important person to Rumple, just in different ways.
