Oh, I would lay money on Jafar being the big bad in 5a. Definitely. So him being behind Will’s appearance in Storybrooke once again is probable. He’s smart and it wouldn’t be hard for him to outwit some schlump into setting him free of his bottle. Or controlling someone remotely through his “master”.

My memory is leaving me, and I might have to pull up some episodes of Wonderland, but why was Will in Storybrooke during the first curse. Why can’t I remember this? Did Regina pick him? Or did he flee back to the EF before the curse? I’m drawing a total blank. Because I do remember the White Rabbit going to Storybrooke to get Will and going to FakeLondon to get Alice in the asylum. But I’m having a brain fart on why he was stuck in Storybrooke to begin with.

They never explained the details why Will was dragged into Storbrooke during the first curse.
