So will the stars of Wonderland portal on over to the original series?

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis said there are no current plans to merge the two series, but it’s definitely a possibility.

“The two stories kind of take place in different times,” Kitsis pointed out a recent press event, before the news of Wonderland’s cancellation was announced.

“[Wonderland and OUAT] are slightly out of sync,” Horowitz added. “I would say that we love the characters in [Wonderland] obviously, and would certainly be open to it down the line…Next year, perhaps.”

The most requested WL regular to crossover to the parent show is definitely the Knave. I guess it depends on how things go down in the finale, but perhaps Will and Ana (if she is brought back to life) could move to Storybrooke following the events of WL. Will would have Robin Hood to interact with and Ana would have Ashley/Cinderella.

And if they ever finally introduce Aladdin and Jasmine on the parent show, perhaps both Jafar and Cyrus could be involved. Maybe Cyrus was Aladdin’s genie at some point.

Jafar would be an excellent villain for s4 of the parent show. I’d love to see Cyrus or one of his brothers as the genie who granted Aladdin his wishes.

We know that Cyrus and Sydney were not the genie belonging to Aladdin, they said it before. But yes, Jafar may atleast return for flashbacks whenever Aladdin and Jasmine appear. I have a theory I’ve been meaning to post about what I think that storyline may go like since we know Jafars motivation and what not. I think Aladdin and Jasmines story may not have even occured yet, possibly, like with the Rapunzel story.

I would love it if the whole cast of Wonderland to join OUAT. I’ve come to love all of them. Jafar would be a great villian for OUAT. Perhaps a revenge story for him and he’s not related to any of the OUAT that we know of which I’m kinda grateful for.  Will and Ana could join Robin’s Merry Men again. They already have a strong connection there. And Cyrus and Alice could join if they ever do the Aladdin story.

Ugh now I wish OUATiW wasn’t cancelled. 🙁 I’ll miss them.

True, but so did Sydneys lamp. The brother from the lamp looked like the youngest bro so he could probably be a lot of fun if he were Aladdins genie, since the youngests are always the funniest in tv shows 🙂

I need Will, Cyrus and Alice in Storybrooke. I love Wonderland but the screwy thing about it timeline-wise is when it took place, during season two of Once. I still can’t figure out if there is time travel going on but if the season had started at the end of season two, then I think it would be more plausible to bring those characters back to Storybrooke.
