So I’m wondering if (when) the curse is broken, will the characters go back to Fairy Tale Land or will they stay in Storybrooke? Now that time is moving forward and Emma is supposed to be able to bring back the happy endings what will happen when the characters start to remember who they are?
For example, we have Ashley and Sean who now have their daughter Alexandra and who are engaged. I’m assuming that at some point they will get married in Storybrooke. But what happens when they remember who they really are? Will they be miserable living in Storybrook when they realize they should be in Fairy Tale Land? What if they decide that they like their life in Storybrooke? Technically, Alexandra wasn’t born when they left Fairy Tale Land so would they really want to go back if she was, say, 5 years old when they curse is broken – and have her not even be born yet?
And what about Henry??? If they go back to Fairy Tale Land Emma will be a newborn so Henry won’t even exist and probably won’t exist at all because her life would be so different – she definately wouldn’t be found on the side of the road!! For Henry to exist at all in Fairy Tale Land his father would have to be a Fairy Tale character of some kind, right??
And if they do go back to FLT will they have any memory of their life in Storybrooke??
I have way too much time on my hands . . .

On the one about Henry: I think he be born and I think his father will be inportant in the future and has something to do with FTL, but that’s just my thought.
As I mentioned in another post, I re-watched the pilot yesterday and what came to my mind, is that James is dead in FTL! Right? I mean, Snow tries to wake him up, even remembers true love’s kiss, but nothing happens. Then the EQ appears, the curse is inacted and the next time we see his counterpart, he’s alive but in a coma. So, he wasn’t really dead? Or was he and he’ll be again when the curse is broken(which would make a hell of bad ending …)?
I don’t belive that he’ll be dead in the end, but It’s just strange, that he seemed really dead in FTL and now isn’t in SB.About all other questions … well, I’ll be happy to read the thoughts of others as well.
February 25, 2012 at 2:23 pm #137662obisgirlParticipantI’m been wondering the same thing too. If we’re to believe ‘literally’ when Emma goes back to the FT world, that she becomes a baby again, maybe she’ll have second thoughts? because who would take care of Henry if she left? I can’t imagine that she would be able to bring him with her because she would be a baby. would charming & snow take care of henry?
but then again, maybe Emma won’t become a baby again when the curse is broken and she stays an adult, thus when she returns to FT world, she still has Henry and can take care of him.
and we’ve only seen instances of ‘singular’ happiness, in other words, Sean and Ashley getting their happy ending isn’t the same as ‘everyone’ in Storybrooke getting their happy ending. I think that’s how the curse will work.
another way to look at it: Henry keeps saying that Emma will bring back to the happy endings, not you’re going to return them to the FT land. there is a difference. so maybe when everyone remembers who they are, Storybrooke could become their new FT land.
I mean, we saw the evil curse destroy the rotunda in the pilot and I think it’s safe to assume, all of FT world. so if they went back, would it stay destroyed or revert back to its former self before the EQ enacted the curse ❓
So many questions to think about 😮 😆

It may be that the fairytale land was turned into the real world Storybrooke so that everyone that is in Storybrooke when the curse is broken is transported back.
February 25, 2012 at 2:46 pm #137669obisgirlParticipantbut we saw in the end of ‘That Still Small Voice’ that FT is underneath Storybrooke. but it looked pretty damaged to me.
February 25, 2012 at 3:15 pm #137671hjbauParticipantWell i don’t believe that Fairytale land is under Storybrooke. I just think the dwarfs put snow’s coffin in their mine in the fairytale land so that when the fairytale land was transported into the real world Storybrooke that it was transported here with other objects like Snow’s ring or the objects in Gold’s shop. I sort of think of Gold’s shop and his house as his castle and the things that were in his castle are in his shop or his house like the cup, the genie’s lamp, the parent puppets.
Was the unicorn mobile still with Snow and Charming when Snow gave birth to Emma? Rumpel could have stolen that also.

MEDICAL CARE in Storybrook is so much better now a days then in FLTs. .. PC got saved by the advance medical care.
WELL, I think life now a days is much richer and less hard on the average person / peasant…. Anyone who does not have a castle and subjects will want to stay…. Everyone who had riches, a castle and servants will want to go…..
What will the HAVES do without the slaves… servants to take care of them???

I wasn’t sure about this either but I just re-watched the What Happened to Frederick episode and now I’m pretty sure that FTL is under Storybrooke because when AWB is telling Emma about the water from the well he tells her that the water comes from a spring from a lake under the town of Storybrooke that will return to you something you have lost. This is obviously in reference to the magical lake that frees Frederick from his curse, so the lake is under Storybrooke.
February 26, 2012 at 1:42 am #137697hjbauParticipantIn my opinion, i don’t think that proves anything because there are other things that were transported and transformed in Storybrooke as well like the Troll bridge or the mines.
February 26, 2012 at 1:57 am #137698nonnieParticipantDidn’t Regina go to her father’s grave… push the top off and descend stairs to FTL and the hidden chamber … in order to crush Grahams heart…. it looked like more stairs than in a basement.
Just wondering
