In my opinion, i don’t think that proves anything because there are other things that were transported and transformed in Storybrooke as well like the Troll bridge or the mines.
Mines are under ground we saw the remainders of the Glass Coffin
The TOLL bridge is a modern cement bridge but has T”R” OLL painted to make it say TROLL.

I have seen no evidence for that to be the case. And it really seemed like the smoke was destroying fairytale land as it swept over the Enchanted forest and the room that Snow, Charming, and the queen were in when the curse happened seemed to be tearing apart.
And the Toll bridge is the place that Charming went when he woke up from his coma without memories because he was looking for Snow. Also the mines did not seem to be the same. There was medal structure as well as a hatch and a shoot and i don’t remember there being diamonds in the walls in the real world. Also the queens heart room was different in the real world then the one in the fairytale world. I just don’t see any evidence that fairytale land is under Storybrooke. And honestly i don’t see a reason as to why they would do that.

Maybe that explains what Mr. Gold was doing when he was doing “a spot of gardening” in the forest. Maybe he was digging up FTL stuff that was mixed into the dirt in Storybrooke as the curse occured to bring back into his pawn shop. So maybe FTL is necessarily underneath Storybrooke, but just like the characters, is kind of a part of it? So yes, it’s destroyed in terms of the way it used to be but remnants of it still exist and might still be found throughout the series – maybe things that will be found will help to spark people’s memories?
Personally, I like the idea of the characters remembering who they are but choosing to remain as their “modern” selves reunited with their FTL significant others. That way the series can last longer!!

The two worlds blended together, with parts of FTL buried underneath and parts above ground. It’s like ancient Rome being buried underneath modern-day Rome, since archeologists find remnants of a civilization thousands of years old within the modern-day vicinity.
It would explain why Mr. Gold was digging in the middle of what appears to be the Enchanted Forest in Storybrooke. The cottage where Snow was hiding out still exists in Storybrooke, where Mary and David take shelter from a storm. The toll bridge still exists to which David returns, prompted by subconscious memories of the troll bridge in FTL. It’s also intriguing that a wishing well still exists in Stroybrooke, fed by a magic lake. When Emma asks August in episode 13 how he knows so much about the magical properties of the well, he replies that he read the plaque. How could Regina have overlooked this important spot? It seems like Storybrooke is full of signposts just waiting to be recognized and unearthed.
