I’m starting to believe that when Jafar was bottled and then POOFed he was sent to the very far past where he was released by the Author (a curious lad), became the Sorcerer and then put the Author in the book somehow
I can see this. In the movie, Jafar’s first wish was to he the mist powerful sorcerer in the world. He already kind of became that in WL for awhile. Maybe the twist now is that someone uses him to make that wish for themselves.
