When you wish upon a star…

Apparently you can zap your sister to you!

What did you think of the Anna and Elsa reunion and the method by which they were reunited?

Were you happy to see Blackbeard again?

I was really impressed with how they wrote the star scene, and the wish! It was really touching seeing the reunion!!!

But Blackbeard…another retcon because he’s supposed to be dead! Seriously…Hook threw him over boat, near sharks, and there was blood!

When that retcon happened…I was like…

There was, but he let Ariel jump off the ship fast enough she could have saved BB. It was retconnish…but in a way that I’m hoping will spark awesome plots, pirate battles, and more of the JR in the future. I love that ship.

For timeline clarity, here are some responses from Jane

@ItachiIshtar Yep. That's what he said.

    I have questions.

    1) How did the necklace end up in Gold’s shop? It was in the fireplace in Arendelle

    2) How is the necklace the wishing star. Elsa GAVE that to Anna in 401, right? She POOFed it out of thin air? Yes?

We saw Rumple take the necklace from the fireplace when he payed Ingrid a visit during last episode’s flashback.

    1. Rumple fished it out of the fireplace when he grabbed the urn. He knows better than to waste something valuable. It came along with most of his collection to his shop during the curses, presumably.

    2. That’s what I remember, too, but she claims here that it was among their parents’ things. But that DOES confuse me with this timeline. Why do I think we’re going to see more of what their parents were doing?

In regards to where the necklace came from, I actually re-watched the scene from 401. You never actually see Elsa “poof” the necklace into existence or even hear any magical sound effect. She just has it in her hands, so she might have just found it lying around the castle.

Yeah, I just rewatched too. I think the misleading thing was “something new, to go with something borrowed.” That, combined with the fact that she draws it out of the air behind the dress, probably put the suggestion in our minds that she made it.

And there’s also the timeline issue of how did it get into Gerda’s stuff if they were on the mission to get it when they died. But I -think- that we’re going to find that was a thing that happened before their death somehow.

That quote is actually mentioned by Elsa in this episode:

“This was my present for Anna for her wedding. It was among our mother’s things, but to us it was new.”
