KeymasterDorothy returned from Kansas tonight (is it a fictional Kansas? Must be). She’s back and she’s a fighter now with the love of the people. What did you make of this new older version of Dorothy?

ParticipantShe’s definetly more fierce I will give her that…other than that, I don’t really know.

KeymasterLackluster seems fair. She played no role other than just being there. I’m not sure what her purpose was except to delay Zelena taking the Scarecrow’s brains so that Hades could enter the picture and help her out.

ModeratorI’m not quite sure I’m buying Teri Reeves’ performance. Her line deliveries felt, for the lack of a better word, monotone? Maybe I need to see more of her to fully judge, as she didn’t get that much screentime here.

I got the same impression. She was pretty flat for me.

I was hoping for Anna Friel.

ParticipantIt felt to me like they tried to make Dorothy like Alice.

ParticipantI sort of like that we’re keeping Dorothy at arms’ length. It’s very Wicked (the book, the musical) to just focus on the Wicked Witch.
Zelena asked Dorothy what happened to her in Kansas to make her change. Makes me think we’ll see Dorothy again maybe.
And question! If Zelena had the scarecrow’s brain, why did she need Rumple’s brain later? I’m guessing she loses the scarecrow’s brain somehow, then sets her sights on Storybrooke to get her ingredients.

I was thinking that maybe Zelena tried her hand at casting the spell in Oz and it failed to work because her ingredients weren’t good enough.

KeymasterTo clarify in case anyone wasn’t sure
@WilliamShatner In OUAT, Dorothy exists in a "fictional Kansas" realm, like we've seen w/other stories. Need slippers to get there and back
