ABC announced their mid-Season replacements, and reality show “The Taste” will be replacing Wonderland’s timeslot come January 2nd. The Taste doesn’t look like it’ll be running for all of the Spring, as previous Seasons have been shorter and it is taking up Grey’s timeslot too. ABC clarified that Wonderland will return sometime in the Spring, but they haven’t specified. I expect if Wonderland does return, it’ll be in late February or March around the same time as Once proper. The better solution, in my honest opinion, would be to have it take Once’s current slot during the winter hiatus. The worst case scenario is the remaining episodes won’t air until Summer or they don’t air at all.

ParticipantI don’t think Wonderland will go beyond this single season. The best thing to do would be to bring the Knave over to Once (and perhaps Jafar and Red Queen too if possible). I hope they do finish airing Wonderland.

I will forever be baffled as to why they didn’t just do it that way in the first place. Not all OUAT fans feel the need to double up and watch both shows at the same time, but 3 months is a long break, and any Oncers wanting a fix would have tuned in for WL. I reckon it would have rated twice as well if they’d done it that way.

ParticipantI agree absolutely, Phee. Ah well.

Adam and Eddie they only have story for one season 🙁 so, I hope they get to tell it all.
I love the idea of bringing the Knave back over to Once. First time we saw him, he was in Storybrooke anyway.

ParticipantI think some fans did “save” it on DVR too to watch later but the network only counts within that week. They really should have used it during the hiatus. ABC marketing/network almost wanted it to fail putting it where they did.

Also baffled and agreed.
I hope that no matter what we do get to see the full story play out.

KeymasterAlso, that means episode 9 is the winter break? (unless there is another week off?)

Adam did tell me on Twitter that they are still producing episodes, so I’m sure any remaining episodes that were ordered will be fully produced. It’s really just a matter of how these episodes will be distributed. ABC saying they plan to air the rest sometime in the Spring does give me hope that they will properly air. On a side note, I think ABC moving Revenge to 10pm in the Spring has to be one of their smartest ideas in a long time, as their attempts at new shows in that hour have failed for goodness knows how long. Plus, Revenge is crippling at 9pm as it is.

Interesting. I thought it might be the death knell for Revenge and not even Syndication Gods could save it. I know it brings a fanbase with it, but I’m not sure that fanbase will follow.
