I happened to enter the word/name “neal” in TheFreeDictionary. One of the meanings of the name is “To be tempered by heat.” This gives credence to the belief that Neal could indeed be Baelfire.

Yet more photo montages of Neal, Baelfire, Henry, and Mr. Gold
    Like father like son?

"Thatโ€™s how you know youโ€™ve really got a home. When you leave it, thereโ€™s this feeling that you canโ€™t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

If Neal really is Bae (he has to be!) then they have an unbelievable talent for casting a family.

I don’t really know where to post this, but I saw this on Tumblr and had just had to share.

I love SwanFire fans! I would have never even have noticed this.

(Henry is just doing it a little bit, but kudos to ladyannarielle for finding all these photos.)

I thought that this link, http://theclassics4.tumblr.com/post/36594637046/the-perfect-crinkley-eyed-smile-robert-carlyle was cute too not only because it has a lot of pictures of Robert Carlyle smiling but also because MRJ’s face gets all crinkly like that too when he smiles.

    Love it!!!!!

That’s a great find! Following your lead I found this definition for “Cass” (idy) –

    cass – GNU Webster’s 1913
    v. To render useless or void; to quash; to annul; to reject; to send away.

So we have Neal (tempered by heat) Cass(idy) rejected…sent away. Sounds like Baelfire to me. ๐Ÿ˜€

(Looks like ABC has a Neal page now ๐Ÿ˜€ http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/once-upon-a-time/blogs/character-tales/neal-cassidy with a great pic of Neal in the bug )
