We can all go on and on about ratings and ABC and blah blah blah, but narrative-wise, I think it’s time to wrap this up because the cracks having been showing for awhile now and every season they get more and more noticeable.
I agree the story has run it’s course. I don’t know if they could do it well, but I wouldn’t mind if they wrapped up the storylines for our current characters, and then begin a completely new storyline with new characters, perhaps by way of a flash-forward or in another realm. Our current main cast could return periodically for flashbacks as needed. I know the characters are what keep us coming back to watch this show, but I think the show’s unique and imaginative concept itself could be shown in a fresh way again. Either that, or they could do complete one-season stories like they did with Wonderland. OUAT in Neverland, OUAT in Land Without Color, OUAT in Oz etc.

Agreed. The world they’ve built is still compelling. I’d watch a spin-off with some of the side characters. Mulan and Aurora rescuing Philip could lend itself to becoming a mini-series. But the spin-off would need new producers because A & E seem to have lost interest.
Oh that’s right, the black fairy. I think that may be the last loose end (other than Maleficent and Lily) that I would like them to tie up. They tied up a lot this half season and gave us answers to some cool things, but the black fairy…that would be so intriguing. It would give Blue a villain centered around her. Give her more backstory. Sometimes I wonder if OUAT forgot that they mentioned this mysterious black fairy .
1. (if season 6 will be the last) I hope they won’t introduce more/new characters in season 6B anymore. Bring the focus back on the core characters (work on their dynamics and character development, and work on wrapping up their story) and let the supporting players shine again like in season 1 (as in let the seven dwarves and those in Snowing’s round table help-Granny, Red, Blue, Geppetto, etc.- not just show them for the sake of making their presence known). If they’re going to bring a new villain, please let it not be because of personal vendetta against the Evil Queen or Rumple where everyone gets to be collateral damage.
2. Less CS making doe eyes at each other. Give them a realistic storyline (something everyone can relate to), and more scenes with Hook interacting with the others and not make his purpose for existing because of Emma.
3. Bring the strong Emma Swan back that we’ve known from earlier seasons. Give her a real challenge, and not just have her go to the Underworld to save her boyfriend. Whatever happened to “Sorry, the only one who saves me is me?” I want the Savior back.
4. Stop making Belle look like the most naive bookworm that ever graced the show. She, more than anyone else, deserves a happy ending. She shouldn’t be the one paying for Rumple’s mistakes.
5. A Regina vs the Evil Queen battle in the end. Make her realized that the darkness inside her is okay, so long as she doesn’t give in to it. After all, she’s doing a great job keeping herself together anyway.
6. Also, idk why, but I kinda want Regina to fall under the sleeping curse, perhaps have the Evil Queen do it herself. Oh, the irony! Maybe then Robin can find her and wake her up while she’s in the burning red room (or she goes with him in the end). This show has broken dozens of rules of their own anyway, so why not go crazier with the plot? I would also want, in the end, for Snow and Charming to die protecting Emma and baby Neal.
7. For Regina to adopt Roland, because Robin would have wanted her to look after his son, or at the very least, give us a proper Regina-Roland goodbye.
8. Stop putting Snow and Charming on the sidelines. They’ve “benched” them for far too long, it’s time they put their focus back on them (I’ve read somewhere that “people don’t ship Snowing anymore because they’re boring). I find it insulting because the show started with them. Also, is Prince Neal ever gonna grow a year/months or is he gonna stay an infant for the rest of the show?
9. Give VioletBeliever time for their relationship to actually grow. Please, no making out in the bug or Mr. Gold’s shop.
10. Bring the focus back on hope and family dynamics. Enough with storylines for the sake of shipping. If the show is ending, the least thing A&E could do is make us remember why we loved the show in the first place, back in season 1.

)I’d rather the plot be more character focussed, instead of the characters being plot focussed. 2) Hook in scenes with other male characters who aren’t Rumple, also less scenes with Emma. Hook’s whole “revenge” storyline is dragging on beyond the most logical point. Nobody is saying Hook and Rumple have to like each other but staying out of each other’s way or having to be reluctant allies would be more natural at this stage than Hook constantly wanting revenge. Hook has moved on from Milah therefore the “revenge” plot should have been resolved. Hook’s done a lot of things against Rumple (and Belle) therefore it should have all equalled out, and Hook should’ve moved on. Having Hook continually antagonising Rumple then crying foul when Rumple retaliates only makes Hook look bad. Hook is most enjoyable when he is sharing a screen with Charming and Charming alone because Charming doesn’t put up with Hook’s crap and I actually think Hook respects him for that. Charming and Hook also play nicely off each other because they’re personalities are different to each other but they recognise they have the same goals. 3) RumBelle working together and arguing like an old married couple- “Her Handsome hero” was a good episode for them because they were working towards the same goal but disagreeing on how to get there. There is no reason for RumBelle to constantly break up/reunite every season because it gets too repetitive. Have them actually work together and resolve their issues over time instead of constantly pushing Belle off-screen and havng Rumple be evil for no reason than “power”. 4) Have Henry and Violet break up- They’re too young to be having a deep and meaningful relationship but also it wastes screentime when there are other important things going on. 5) Less Henry- Henry was annoying in the finale. He’s the least interesting of the regulars and he becomes very bratty when he get all high and mighty over something. He’s not a little kid anymore so when he throws a temper tantrum, it’s not a case of he’s too young to know any better, because he is old enough to know better and I hope he learns his lesson the hard way by having something backfire on him. 6) Actually give Emma a storyline that doesn’t revolve around Hook in some form or another. 7) Make Storybrooke have that small town charm to it again. Show some of the side characters such as Granny, the dwarves and Whale. Give them some lines. Bring back August. 8) Give Belle friends. Give everyone friends that they can hang around with who aren’t regulars or related in some form. Q

– To me this is very interesting. Not only did they not flat out say no, but they also linked them to Lily and Maleficent. I find that quite interesting.
I forgot. Let’s not forget the Lady of the Lake. It would be nice to see her in the flesh at last. Last time she was mentioned, Lancelot was sent to fetch her by the Charmings and Merlin to fight against the new dark one (hook) that Emma made against his will. But we never saw him or her after that.
