I thought the same thing after I posted!
After seeing the mention of baby Neil perhaps being immune from the spell, I had this comical vision him having a similar talent as the baby from the movie “The Incredibles”, poofing into fire, a monster, or maybe brandishing a light sabre when he is not happy.

It would be so funny if Emma says “I wonder if the baby was effected by the curse” and they just cut to the baby in the stroller looking like:
