In the first half of “Once Upon a Time’s” special two-hour event, Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) motivations were revealed when Zelena (Rebecca Mader) restored Hook’s (Colin O’Donoghue) memories from Camelot, showing him that Emma tethered his life to Excaliber and made him a fellow Dark One.

What does this mean for the “Once Upon a Time” universe, particularly Rumpel (Robert Carlyle) — who, as a former Dark One, may be starting to miss it or envy Emma and Hook’s powers?
