"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 18, 2014 at 9:00 am #253872Marty McFlyParticipantlisten to the accent, RG. also the facial movements they are very similar. just the whole aura seems similar, no? and they sort of look alike
besides why would Zelena want Baelfire? when Gold asked her what is it she wants, she says she wants what he spent his life searching for… that’s Bae. why would she want Bae if she’s not somehow close to Milah? I mean who else would want Bae (other than Emma)

I’ll grant you the aura seems familiar (longing for something more than “this life” as it were). The accent might just be a happy coincidence, though. A and E worked with Bex in the past and like her a lot so they brought her on for this role.
As for your other point from the Canadian promo I think we need to see the rest of the episode, but I suspect Zelena isn’t referring to a specific person (Bae) in that moment but rather the idea of family. Rumple searched for his family (Bae) for a long time and so has Zelena, but for a different reason–she wants revenge while Rumple wanted forgiveness. So I don’t know that Zelena is specifically thinking of Baelfire but rather just family in general
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 18, 2014 at 11:57 am #253898The Swan PrincessParticipantI think that Runple taught Zelena dark magic, he probably used her hatered to Dorothy just like he used Regina’s hatered to Snow, But when she tried to cast the curse she failed and he kicked her and started to teach Regina.
I think there are 3 possible reasons why:
1. She didn’t love anyone (probably not true, even heartless people can feel a little bit of love on the show)
2. The thing she loved most was Rumple (I like the theory that he’s her father better than the theory that he’s her lover, that’s a little bit gross)
3. The thing she loved most didn’t have a heart, because he was the Tin Man! (father? lover? brother? That’s my favorite theory anyway)
You know what I can't continue with the dead people brought back to life list I'm out of space in the signature and now we have an underworld arc this is to much I quit why do you bring so many people back to life OUAT WHHHYYYY

ooooooooooooooo!!!! good one!!! I absolutely love this theory 🙂
in fact, I suspected for some time that Regina sent Hook after Cora because SHe was the thing Regina loved most, but since she had no heart, Regina used Henry Sr. insteadMarch 18, 2014 at 1:48 pm #253917Marty McFlyParticipantso maybe the Gold/Rumpel part is dead, but the Dark one is still there…? I don’t like this tweet. kind of sad
March 18, 2014 at 2:05 pm #253923betsypaige24ParticipantI don’t think Gold/Rumple was her lover at all; just because she might have felt that way once doesn’t mean he did – well clearly he didn’t. Since that’s the case, I concentrate all my hatred on the notion that he’s her father, which he’s also not.
I find it impossible to believe that Rumple would have confided in Zelena about Bae, especially to just an apprentice or student.
Just give me my babies back, lol
March 22, 2014 at 10:45 am #254728PheeParticipantA thought I ended up landing on after a bit of a rambling post in another thread, regarding Rumple’s line about how she shouldn’t have brought him back. Maybe that was purely the Dark One talking, because when Zelena found Rumple, he HAD been undone, he was mortal, but he wasn’t any good to her that way, so she found a way to bring the Dark One back into Rumple’s body again.
March 22, 2014 at 10:57 am #254731KebParticipantI’ve no doubt that there was a very high price to be paid for bringing Rumple back. Zelena may not yet know just what she’s gotten into–even aside from Rumple’s own proclivities toward killing people who threaten him or his family. And depending on the current state of his ability to read the future, Rumple may know more than she does about what will come of it.
