We finally learned what Zelena was after: a second chance at the life she should have had.
What might life look like if she succeeds?
And what all does she need?

I think we learned from a noble man. Sometimes there are no second chances.
She will look like who she really is. A lonely, lost, evil, vindictive little girl who’s looking for someone to love her.
Okay so we know she needs:
-Courage
-Brains
-HeartShe probably also needs love. Without love you can’t go home. So whose is she going to get? Also, what did she love so much to create this curse? From this episode all I can see is that she only cares about herself and is envious of others.
Also, she seems to of had love in her life at one time from her adoptive mother. Something that Emma didn’t even have.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"ok a crackpot theory time: we know that she claimed last episode that by having the dagger she had Rumple’s beautiful brain. So we know he breaks free but what if she gets Belle’s brain through one of her books, or Henry’s brain since he is currently a scarecrow without memory of his true lineage.
In addition just thought I would say that I appreciated Zeleena’s motivation for all of this, because she was hated for her magic by her adopted fahter, got sent basically on a mission of revenge by Wizard Walsh, and then got turned down by the dark one. Her life is at least as tortured as REgina’s but of course Rumplestiltskin still wins.
Magic always comes with a price, so I pay with visa.
What might life look like if she succeeds?
If Cora had kept Zelena, never married Henry and had Regina…
Rumple still would have found Zelena because prophecy…
Rumple still would have trained her to cast the Curse…
Zelena likely would have killed her beloved mother Cora to cast the Curse…
So we’d still have the Curse, still have SB (or some place like it in our world)…but no Emma as Saviour because no Regina, no vendetta with Snow, no Emma as the Saviour, and no Emma as Saviour means no Henry.And what all does she need?
If it’s brain, courage, heart, that’s three elements, which is similar to how they changed the laws of magic in WL, with three Genies. Each of those three Genies could maybe be classified as one of the three elements Zelena needs – Cyrus had bravado, so he’s the courage, his older brother seemed to be the stern, worried one, so he’s the brain, and the younger brother just seemed like a sweet kid, so he’s the heart. So maybe Zelena is basically just trying to cast the same spell as Jafar and Amara.

Perhaps Jafar could have collected any assortment of courage, brain, and heart, just like Zelena’s doing. It just happened to be in the form of three Genies because the original plan was Amara’s plan to reunite her sons who were the Genies.

Makes sense, I just think it’s a little overly convenient. So now there’s more than one way to break the laws of magic. Laws that are never supposed to be broken and are supposed to be impossible to break.
