I’m kinda glad they’re staying off Oz for right now. If they threw that in, it might get just a bit much: Rumple, Cora, Regina, BF…we don’t need another magic being until we resolve Cora (as I think the second half of season two will be taking her down and toward the end the inhabitants of SB will succeed)
Good point. Maybe the writers should save Oz for season 3. I’d like for the character to have a nice clean season for him to fully flesh out without the presence of Cora and the Blue Fairy overshadowing him.
[adrotate group="5"]a chipped cupParticipantAww, my Belle is finally getting her own episode. *Sheds Tears of Joy* 😀
I think the title is a mixture of Belle’s feelings about being locked up and separated from society for so long, and the introduction of Ethan Embry’s character. I wonder why the writers chose this particular episode to introduce him? I read a nice little theory that maybe Ethan’s character wonders into the library to get more information on Storybrooke, and that’s when Belle tels him his story. Maybe that’ll be her way of making him believe in magic.
…if that’s the case. A lot of people seem to think that he’ll be a true outsider. No knowledge of magic or curses whatsoever. So, that would be nice.
a chipped cupParticipantMr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin. Sympathetic villains have always been my weakness and I just adore his relationship with Belle.

^Well, it looks like our dream has officially come true. 😀
I know! I was having so many Red Beauty feels during last week’s episode! 😀

She was too awesome for words. 😆 I also loved that Mr. Gold helped Henry for free. I think the show is trying to point to a possible connection between Mr. Gold and Henry (possibly his grandson). The scenes between Ruby and Belle were lovely as well. There’s just something about Belle that attracts the strangest people to her. 😆 And yes, David punching Spencer was BOSS. :ugeek:
This was a good scene, but it still made me upset: Red accidently killing her mother. It was heartbreaking. 😥 Meghan did an amazing job with this scene. Actually, she was amazing throughout the entire episode.
a chipped cupParticipantI’m loving all the parallels between Mr. Gold and Neal and Neal and Henry. I love how the writers are paying attention to every little detail. And I gotta say, I love Neal. He just seems like my kind of guy. 😀 And baby Emma stealing the yellow bug…too awesome for words. 😆
a chipped cupParticipantI loved so much about this episode. Regina, Rumpel, Dr. Frankenstein, Jefferson. Everyone was amazing. I thought the episode was very brave and ambitious and I love that the writers took a risk with this new storyline.
My only grip with the episode is that the writers are placing all of Regina’s evil deeds on the shoulders of other people. First it was Snow, then it was Rumpel manipulating her, then it was Jefferson, then it was Dr. Frankenstein. It’s like the writers are trying to sweep all of Regina’s past evil deeds under the rug by blaming other characters, and it’s not realistic. It’s getting tiring and it’s not a good way to redeem someone. In order to redeem someone, you have to accept responsibility for your evil deeds and face them. Not simply chalk it all up to other people. A good amount of Regina past evil deeds have been officially placed on the shoulders of other characters.
a chipped cupParticipantHOLY CRAP! I’VE NEVER SEEN THESE PHOTOS BEFORE! 😮 😮 😮
And as far as it being obvious that Bae’s the father, there hasn’t been any evidence on the show to suggest that he is. It was the producers and in particular Jennifer Morrison who kept saying things like “I know who the father is,” and “we may have already met the father in previous episodes.” Those comments sent fans into a frenzy and the only person who fit those descriptions was Baelfire.
The producers have an uncanny ability to ruin a surprise. I think Jane Espenson straight up admitted that August was Pinocchio in an interview two weeks before the episode actually aired. I know there was evidence already suggesting that he was, but she didn’t have to go and spoil it.
a chipped cupParticipantI don’t mind Emma and Snow being absent for a few episodes. I’m glad that the other characters are getting more focus. Especially Rumpel and Regina. What does both me is the actual storyline. I don’t really see the point of Emma and Snow being in the Enchanted Forest. It doesn’t add anything to the actual plot, and it pairs the main characters off with new characters that most people are pretty apprehensive about. So, Emma and Snow going missing for a few episodes doesn’t bother me, but having them in a storyline that is completely separate from the main Storyline going on in Storybrooke is upsetting. I’m more invested with what’s going with Charming, Rumpel, Regina and Red in Storybrooke than Emma and Snow’s storyline, and that’s a problem.
The only good thing to come out of this storyline is Cora.
a chipped cupParticipantYES! I love that Belle and Red are bonding. I always thought they would make good friends. And poor Belle is really shaken up to.
And Sweet Jesus, Mrs. Rumpel one hell of a B! I’m actually surprised by how mean she was.
