After the curse was lifted, everyone remembered who they were in FTL. I’m not so sure that Belle’s first few days out of the asylum will be spent with Rumplestiltskin. Something tells me that she will want to see her father, Moe French, who Mr. Gold violently attacked. with all the bad blood between the two men in SB and rumple’s last words to Belle in FTL being “my power means more to me than you”. I think she will side with her father. That is unless something happened between King Maurice and Belle that we don’t know yet about. In the latter cases she will most likely want to be on her own for, at least, a little while.
I’m not so sure about that. Recent behind the scenes photos show Emilie de Ravin dressed in a nightgown standing with Mr. Gold outside of his house. It appears that they’re living together.
[adrotate group="5"]a_desperate_soulParticipantRumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold. I think my runner-ups would be Belle and Jefferson.
a_desperate_soulParticipantWOW! They look so good together! I can’t wait to see their scenes together.
And thank God Belle is living with Mr. Gold. I hated the idea of Belle living with the nuns. 😯
a_desperate_soulParticipantHmmm, other forums seem to think he’s either Beaman or Peter Pan. I don’t think he’s going to be Baelfire. He’s most likely attached to Captain Hook’s story. 🙂
a_desperate_soulParticipantWell it’s about freaking time. 😆 So good to see Robert and Emilie onset together. I love seeing them together.

Hopefully we get some more shots of Emilie and Robert on set. 😀
Could Belle’s dark clothes represent her darker character? In general protagonists tend to wear bright clothing and antagonists tend to wear dark clothing.
That’s actually a very good question. Emilie has hinted at Belle possibly becoming a slightly darker character in season 2, so maybe her dark clothing is symbolic of that transformation.

^I hope those theories come true too. It would definitely up the stakes and add an extra element of danger to the situtation. Because right now, the two main villains are Rumpel and Regina. And we already know what their main objectives are. Rumpel wants to find Bae and Regina wants to get revenge on Snow. These are both selfish motives as opposed to Apocalyptic, end of the world motives. If the whole story is soley about those two motivations, then the story will lose an element of danger. We’ve already grown too emotionally attached to Regina and Rumpel. We know their backstories and their motivations, and they’ve become more sympathetic in our eyes. So, it’ll be difficult to view them as real, terrifying villains. I can’t fear someone who I already love. So, the theory of the other worlds bleeding into Storybrooke would give the story a real villain.
It would also bring the Mad Hatter and his magical hat back into the game. The writers introduced the concept of other worlds and dimensions for a reason. I think they’ll play a major part in the final battle.
That also puts Jefferson in a very interesting position. Jefferson is now the most sought after ally in Storybrooke. He has a genuinely powerful weapon: His hat. He has a way to escape. He has a way to abandon this whole mess. And I think Mr. Gold got lucky when Regina betrayed Jefferson in the finale. Now, Mr. Gold has a decent chance at gaining Jefferson as an ally.
I completely agree. I think we’re going to see a case “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” with Mr. Gold and Jefferson.
