It’s a pretty awesome concept, that it’s only thanks to Merlin that that little piece of the Enchanted Forest still exists. Camelot/Avalon would be very cool. Perhaps Lancelot and Mulan can hook up at some point, and poor Aurora can continue to mourn poor Prince Phillip.

Just seemed odd considering they are together now, and yet, as you mentioned, he was planning to leave town with maps so that he could look for Bae (talk about a needle in a haystack).
adamchapmanParticipantI agree with the theory about Baelfire, especially after the end of today’s episode. Rumple standing at the city limits was a sad scene, to say the least, since all he wanted was to be reunited with his son.
Where was Belle for this episode, though?
adamchapmanParticipantHeh, he was pretty creepy here. I like your theory slurpeez, certainly makes a lot of sense, fits with the theme of slightly altering existing fairy tales to fit into a larger mythology.

Yeah, I think it’s very possible that Cora is the Queen of Hearts. My guess would be that she went through the mirror in to Wonderland, went about gaining power to become the Queen, and then when the curse struck the world’s merged and she ended up in current fairy tale land. I only have one issue here, and that’s the time difference. Regina’s wedding was many, many years ago. So how come Cora looks the same age as she did then? I suppose it’s possible that she went directly from the mirror to present-day. Or maybe you don’t age in Wonderland?
It’s very possible she didn’t age in Wonderland, or that she conjured enough magics to retard her aging and keep her at the same age visually.

The curse may have caused the different lands to meld together though. That’s why we saw Mulan, for example, along with Prince Phillip and Aurora. They’re from different lands. Wonderland could have become destroyed, and the only remanent is a combo of all the different lands fused together. The reason Cora is a prisoner in this remanent is because she is the QoH and a threat.
But how would Mulan and Prince Phillip even know that Cora was a threat at all? Cora presumably wasn’t all that well-known way back when, and if Charming didn’t know of Wonderland, how would Mulan and Phillip?
Or she could have done something else after the possible land-melding to be thrown into the pit.
adamchapmanParticipantI suppose that’s quite possible.
Although it made me think of something else- can August/Pinocchio still leave the town, now that the curse is broken? Does the curse’s new effect only effect those who were originally imprisoned in Storybrooke? So would Emma, August and Henry be the only ones who could potentially leave Storybrooke unaffected?
adamchapmanParticipantFavourite Moment: There were a bunch, but I’ll settle for just two. One was Snow showing that kick-ass fighting spirit and trying to fight and escape. The other was David/Charming busting into Regina’s house wielding a sword.
Least Favourite Moment: Sneezy walking across the town line, and having bad things happen to him.
Saddest Moment: When Grumpy and the others were going to go mine for pixie dust, and came across Sneezy. Sad that for now it’s just the six dwarves.adamchapmanParticipantI also wish there was more Emma and Snow in this episode, but at the same time I’m glad that they were restricted to just the ending of the episode, because otherwise the episode would have been far too cluttered. Plus, it made me wanting more!
I liked seeing more of Cora, and how her relationship with Regina coloured Regina’s own parental relationship with her mother. Interested to see how she interacts with Snow, since they know each other already…

how did she go from Wonderland to the parcel of EF that was protected from the curse?
That’s the big question- and part of why I think she can’t actually be the Queen of Hearts, and instead we were misled. The writers knew that fans suspected that Cora was the Queen of Hearts, so played upon that suspicion quite well, until it was revealed that Cora is actually in FTL.
