ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
Keeping it secret ensures that they don’t have to deal with all the characters constantly attacking them to return them to FTL somehow. If they think that FTL doesn’t exist, they’re forced to go about their lives, and make peace with their situation. Plus from a writer’s standpoint, it makes much more sense to go this route, so that you can have a status quo that is easy to keep track of going forwards. Don’t want TOO many story elements that they have to juggle in the air, it makes it harder to tell quality stories when they have so much to keep in mind.
I dunno, I was hoping that everything was leading towards her being the Queen of Hearts, but her appearance in the present day FTL really threw me off. I hope that the different worlds collided after the curse, I prefer the worlds being separate and slightly cut-off from one another.
Also liked the idea that Charming had no idea about Wonderland, and was only familiar with the concept because of his time spent as David Nolan.
I doubt he was the one who sent the postcard, as it appeared he just woke up during this episode. Curious to see where he has left to now, and why he didn’t stick around to reunite with his father though.
