Yes!!! And the show has shown us RECENTLY that it’s extremely difficult for someone to move on if their TL dies, never mind still out there 🙂

His death was a RELIEF to her because her love for him causes her pain – love isn’t supposed to be about pain. That’s why Swanfire is SO UNHEALTHY. SFers like to think that all Emma has to do is get over that pain and everything will be fine and dandy again. But that kind of emotional and mental abuse (Emma thinking she was unloveable for over a decade, NEVER getting even a semblance of closure, not attempting to move on from it until Graham) leaves scars that can NEVER be healed. Never.

Thanks for sharing your personal experience <3 And that's a good point actually, she would have moved on with Graham if he survived. Huh. I hadn't thought about Graham much, only thinking of the transition from Neal to Hook.

I think Hook is my fave, but I LOVE Emma too, honestly I just cannot see better options for either of them 🙂 I just wish I always allowed logic to take over, when I first read both threads I wasn’t nearly as attached to CS as I am now, I get worried over things. I just rewatched 221 and Emma’s “I need you, I love you” disquiets me a bit
