ParticipantWhy does she need to kill anyone? The prophesy was about Rumple being a savior and being killed by the crescent moon evil person to save the children. The prophesy ended when she cut Rumple’s fate so why does she need to fight any savior? Like I said her motivations are completely squirly and make no sense.

ParticipantOkay…let’s not start back up this whole Rumple vs Hook because at this point…you two are borderline family! Just go out, have some coffee, maybe some brunch and talk this thing out.
That would be great but no one recognizes them as family because you know Bae never truly existed. Henry was conceived by some random guy who is dead and must not be mentioned.

ParticipantI have no idea what the motivation of the black fairy is at all. Why does she need to fight Emma, why does she need a dark curse, if she wants Rumple and her to be a family why doesn’t she just bring Rumple,Gideon, and Belle to the dark realm they could release the kids and live happily ever after. We have no idea what her motivation is because like always we are rushing the ending.

ParticipantI am going to post this here instead of letting my feelings fly in the regular forums. 1. I love how they did Hook’s song and talked about how Rumple ruined his life and took his hand but not how. Heaven forbid they should mention that up until season 4 Milah was Hook’s supposed One True Love. How many times have we heard him say that in Season 2-3. “He killed my ONE true love”2. So Emma’s vows where that even though she was born of true love she did not know she would ever find it herself. Okay Emma so how about Henry for one. The truest love you will ever know is the love between you and your child. How did the swan necklace (must have been born of true love) get across realms, and so you are completely discounting the father of your child as your true love? I think we all know in this forum that Neal and Emma were true love, maybe she is now happy moving on with Hook and that is fine, but don’t completely discount the fact that he even existed.

ParticipantHey I am not a CS fan and I definitely enjoyed the Princess Bride reference. I like the location above Granny’s. I like that Archie was officiating it. I like the Dwarves Congo line. I liked that Henry was the best man. Did I like the vows? Hook’s were okay, I would have liked him to say that her heart was his ship or something like that instead of just referencing a ship but they were decent. Her’s were what they were. I liked that she mentioned Henry in her vows. CS fans should be happy.

ParticipantI liked Hook’s song and Zelena’s song was good but I did not like the CGTI. Least favorite was definitely the sing off between Regina and the Charmings. I might have really enjoyed this episode if it wasn’t so close to the end where they are supposed to be finishing up story lines. Like a couple of other episodes this second half I found it while entertaining mostly a waste of time.

ParticipantI was not looking forward to this episode as I don’t like “cheese” and this was definitely no Galavant which I enjoyed immensely because yes it was cheesy but also funny and self deprecating. With all that said I was moderately entertained. 7/10
Liked:
Henry had something to do this episode and was Emma’s support system
Emma was acknowledging her family and Henry and not just focused on Hook
Rumple’s I rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork was great
I liked Hook’s and Zelena’s songs
Blue actually DID something somewhat useful
Mixed:
So Snow you had Belle scourging Gold’s shop for your wedding dress for you and nobody bothered to invite her, yet again I can totally see Rumple giving up his power and then taking Belle and Gideon and going anywhere but Storybrooke. Belle you have no friends here unless they need something from you.
Hook and Rumple going back and forth again. Yes Hook we know you truly would like to kill him you don’t have to remind us every time you get mad at him.
Emma’s dress made her look frumpy which I didn’t see from the still pictures of it. It was really ugly, and Hook could you please take out the stupid dangly earring for your wedding. It was almost distracting.
Wow we left only two hours to finish off story lines and defeat the black fairy. Maybe we should have cut the musicale episode and just moved the story along.

Participanthjbau Participant I still can’t imagine them actually killing Rumpel. These writers are terrible so it is possible, but at this point just write them out. Send Rumpel and Belle and Gideon off to wherever. Clearly, Rumpel is playing some game with the Black Fairy in this episode to try to protect everyone, so just let him do his part and then go.
Agree Completely!

ParticipantOh it’s totally lazy and everything else you wrote above is spot on for why an alternative route would be better. BUT….A and E like their parallels and their circular story telling (or what they see as parallels and circular storytelling) even when it’s completely lazy. As good as this episode was, it’s also a rehash of several other stories (like Malcolm/Rumple, Rumple/Neal, Rumple/Gideon and even Cora/Regina/Zelena, Regina/Henry). They even had Rumple give a watered down version of his famous “because I’m a villain and villains don’t get happy endings!” to Fiona last night.
Which I get, but not for the END, I mean come on guys for the actual ending of one of the best characters on OUAT you are going to do the EXACT same thing you did in Season 3?
AKA
ParticipantI thinks the plan was to send baby Rumple to a land without magic, like Snowing eventually do with Emma and the wardrobe. Tiger Lily even points out that Fiona’s solution would send ALL the children to the LwM.
Why wouldn’t they just use a bean? I mean this way before James destroyed all of them so they would have been hard to find but not impossible. She could have taken Rumple and herself to a land without magic.
