ParticipantI actually really enjoyed this episode I would give it a 8.5/10
Liked:
Rumple/Weaver: Said this last week and will say it again I love the Season 1 feel of Rumple. I love that we don’t know what he is up to, what he knows, and whether he is awake or not (I think he is)
Regina/Roni: I love what OUAT is doing with her character especially in the flashbacks this week. Her scenes were absolutely amazing with Cinderella. It just means so much when we have a character giving really good advice and we understand that she is giving that advice from a position of complete understanding and empathy.
Lady Tramaine: I was not feeling her the first couple of episodes but she is most definitely becoming a big bad with a little gray thrown in. She came off as dangerous and scary this episode. The best villains are the ones who believe they have the moral grounds to do the evil that they are doing. Lady Tramaine is looking at this as just trying to save her 14 year old daughter and getting revenge on whatever happened to her.
Mystery: I like all the mysteries. I feel excited about trying to figure out what is going on and why and I haven’t felt like that in a very long time. What did Cinderella do to cause Anastasia’s mostly death, who is the evil witch captive and how does she play into this, and who is Alice and how is she connected. Love all these questions.
Mixed:
Henry and Cinderella’s chemistry is not quite there and needs some work
Lucy: I actually liked her better in this episode than the first one. She was a little more spunky and a little less whiny.
Henry’s heart: I think they addressed this latter on when the captive witch stated that Lucy’s heart will have been protected also. No one can take Henry’s heart because Regina protected it from removal in season 3 after Pan.
Anastasia: Hope they explain this is not the same Anastasia from Wonderland and actually she couldn’t be because that Anastasia was at least late teens early 20’s (Still waiting for the explanation of what happened between Will and Anna, but will probably never get it so i will continue to go with my little fantasy of he was in Storybrooke trying to get back to Wonderland and Anna who he had an argument with and got trapped in the enchanted forest during the Snow and Charming curse and that he was using Belle with her permission to try and make Anna jealous so she would send the rabbit to come get him)
Wished they had not solved the mystery of whether Lady Tramaine was awake or not a little longer. I was enjoying trying to figure that one out, but at least we have another mystery or two to take its place.

ParticipantI think they are just trying to get us non Hook lovers to feel some sympathy for him. Why did we love Rumple (which most anti Hook fans are pro Rumple) is because at heart he was a man willing to do anything to get back to his son. They are trying to pander to that, but it doesn’t work and is really not needed. I am willing to give new Hook/Rogers a try just knowing that he is no longer the old Hook I could care less that he is looking for a daughter, and actually it makes me kind of disgusted that he apparently had no feeling towards his daughter’s mother as he repeatedly said that he had never known love. By the way why couldn’t he use true love that he obviously feels for his daughter to break whatever curse he has?
AKA
ParticipantI think it is going to be Jacinda. Which would explain the relationship between Lady Tremaine and dream Hook. I doubt we will ever see the mother because I think they are setting up Rogers and Roni to be a couple, maybe they figured out they missed a great opportunity with them in season 2.

ParticipantYeah gotta love Weaver/Rumple. I think he most certainly has his memories and is being the Rumple we all know and love. He is playing the middle against the ends. I think ultimately, he is there to help his grandson and maybe break the curse (?). This is his only motivation and anyone who helps him with that he is aligned with and anyone who does not he is against. Right now he thinks Rogers (who I believe is cursed) can help him so he is using him, if at some point in time he wants Lady Tremaine to believe he is working with her he will do what he needs to do to make it appear so. It is a very season 1 feel with Rumple which I absolutely love!

ParticipantShe will probably live a very safe and event free life with Hook in a house with a picket fence. I am glad they passed the torch to Henry and did not make her cursed or something silly so that Hook is only trying to get back to Emma. She is now gone and can be forgotten about along with Storybrooke Hook. I am okay with Emma deciding to go back to Storybrooke, I mean at this point in time Henry is not in danger and is just looking to find Cinderella and Emma’s parents are in Storybrooke. She might feel that with a new baby she would like all the modern conveniences of our world. All in all I think they ended Emma on a positive note.

ParticipantI had incredibly low expectations for this episode just because I am not a Hook fan and I haven’t been an Emma fan since season 4, but I did not hate this episode I actually found it enjoyable for the most part. I would give it a 7.5/10
Liked:
Weaver/Rumple: I am totally getting a season 1 feel from him, which is why I loved him in the first place. I am pretty sure his awake and knows exactly what he is doing. Robert Carlyle is just an outstanding actor and fun to watch.
Henry: I like this new Henry better than I liked the old Henry
Regina: I liked that Regina decided to stay with Henry in the Enchanted Forrest because he needed her. This is also giving them a plausible explanation of why fake Hook and Regina are cursed. Now we need to figure out how Rumple plays into it.
Henry and Emma: The flashback scenes were nice and at least they gave us some semblance that Emma actually does care about Henry and misses him
Hook/Rogers: I actually like Rogers character in this new Storybrooke and I actually like the dynamic between Weaver and Rogers which surprised me. This is an opportunity for Hook to be his own person and not just a puppy dog for Emma (although really dream realm Hook? I guess they had to do something to pacify CS fans)
Disliked:
–“I never thought Captain Hook would find love…” Look, Killian Jones may have taken a new moniker but he still loved Milah, for crying out loud.
THIS!!!!!! Sorry Guys can’t erase the past. Hook had “true love” with Milah and if we remember season 2 wanted to not only kill Rumple for taking away his true love but also die in the process so he could be reunited with her.
Wow even with all the happy endings Rumple/Belle/Gideon are not considered Henry’s family as he asked Regina about everyone but them.
I did not like the way they constantly reminded everyone Hook was a “pirate” okay writers did you think we forgot? Did we need to be reminded 100 times in one episode it was stupid.
Emma does not have a terminal disease, she is pregnant and not very far along so why the big deal? I pretty sure Henry was not going to drop everything and run back to Storybrooke because his mom is pregnant so why all the drama?
Wish realm Hook, okay so A and E wanted their cake and eat it too, I get it. This was to make CS fans happy and so good.

ParticipantOverall: 8 out of 10 Didn’t love it but somewhat intrigued
Liked/Intrigued by:
Alice: I don’t know what it is about her, maybe the mystery but I liked her or at least I was definitely intrigued by who she is, how she knows things, and what her role is.
Henry and Cinderella: There was definitely some chemistry between them
Cinderella: I liked her attitude, she is much improved over Ashley who I found weak and whiny.
Liked how Cinderella’s fairy godmother gets evaporated in both stories although it is sad
Regina/Ronnie: First off love her new look! I loved how she gave the ending montage (OUAT always does great montages) which puts her in the place of Snow in this book which I think is fitting (hopefully she stays who she is and does not become a self righteous, hypocritical jerk) also loved the fact that she was the one to stick up to the bully of the town, I think it again shows how very far she has come from season 1
Henry: Wrote a whole book about his past and thinks it is just a story
Frog Legs? No Thank You. I believe I am going to love Tiana and her sass
Disliked:
Lucy: I am not feeling her I don’t know why but she comes off as flat and uninspiring
How did Henry end up at the ball at the same time as Cinderella when she stole his motorcycle to get there and left him stranded? Also really she just knows how to ride one because he showed her a couple of things, in reality she would have crashed and killed herself because she wasn’t wearing a helmet.
So Rumple is a crooked (?) detective who is also maybe a mobster? Okay I guess. I did like that Hook looked awe inspired by him and obviously wanted to work with him, that is a funny irony.
