@ mia: I’ve read on many sites that Lionsgate spent around $40 million dollars in advertising alone, not to mention the actual budget of making the movie. Crazy amount of money, but it worked! Third best opening weekend at the box-office of all time.

I think the film is great and a very faithful adaptation. The violence is tempered a bit than what is present in the book. The theme of gratuitous violence as entertainment that the first book explores translates well to the screen. There are moments that make you cringe, but they should make you cringe; just like when any “bad” or “evil” character *coughReginacough* does something you know is wrong. I think what Hunger Games explores is a great launchpad of discussion for young readers. I’m 24 and just read them a few months ago myself, but I can see how younger teens would understand and gravitate toward the story. I recommend them as well.

Keeper of Sidney Glass' Epic Trench Coat and Hat. He's obviously not using it right now. 😉

@Belleoftheball…I wish David would come in for a rescue too, or at least show up and try to help. I wonder who finds out that Emma and MM are gone/kidnapped? August? I feel like someone should be a witness to the Mad Hatter before he disappears (at least that’s what I think will happen).

I wish they would release an actual book like Henry’s! That would be the ultimate dream extra. Maybe a smaller version that could be packaged along with the DVD.

Love that! It makes it seem the writers/directors try to have the parallel aspect of the show in many different formats.

Agree with Mia. Also, Emma’s presence in Storybrooke is changing things that Regina didn’t expect. You can tell because Regina keeps meddling, struggling for control over everyone. Plus, she just found out Rumple knows who he is.

    …And I’ve gone off-topic 🙂

By the way the promo looks, “Sebastian Stan guest stars…” makes me feel as if he won’t be around long.

Hi guys, new here. Just thought I’d throw this out (it’s a bid wild, though. Bear with me.)

What if the person who put the key there was the Hatter? Next week’s preview makes it seem as if he’s a bit crazy and has maybe been planning to kidnap Mary Margaret & Emma. I would think Mary Margaret would try and do the right thing by not escaping, therefore causing no further suspicion. The Hatter could have put the key there and has been waiting for the right person to take the bait.

    I know, it’s weird. Just a thought! 🙂
