I think you could be on to something Slurpeez. It looks like Pan is testing Emma just like he tested Henry. I think he knows that they are both powerful and wants to use that power. Perhaps he is trying to break the Neverland Curse (if it exists) through Emma.

Favorites:
- The entire Emma storyline. Loved that we got to focus on her upbringing and got to see the issues she had with Snowing come out.
- The heartbreaking conversation between Emma and Snow
- The way Hook said, “Perhaps I would” to Emma
- Rumple trying to let go of his past several times when he tried to get rid of the doll.
- Regina telling Emma to “lead”
- Hook and Charming agreeing on things and Hook pointing it out constantly
Least Favorite:
- The fight scene with the Lost Boys. Didn’t really get why the Lost Boys/Pan let the JR5 go
- Pan’s constant stalking of Emma. Every time she was alone it felt like he was there
- Charming lying to Snow, even if it was for good intentions

Hey all! There was some pretty great CS stuff in the episode. I know not everyone has seen it yet, but I was just so excited! I can’t wait to see everyone’s thoughts/reactions tomorrow.

Although I am quite annoyed that the podcasts are not unbiased and fail to mention the very OBVIOUS CS hints in the episode and the parallels and the foreshadowing. This isn’t something you could twist. Hook’s facial expression, the whole happy endings talk and looking at Emma after saying it and the pan literally panning to her. Just very obvious stuff, that anyone could pick up.
Related to that, I have been noticing how much podcasts have expressed their ship preferences. I think podcasts should try to be neutral when it comes to ships because then it feels very one sided. Even if it is a CS preferred podcaster, I don’t think they should encourage taking sides of the fandom. The podcasts are supposed to being the fandom together.
I noticed it has been very bad lately for multiple podcasts. It turns me off of listening to them. Sorry, end of rant!
I enjoyed the Hook/Emma scenes in ep 1. I like where this season is going.

Hey Obisgirl! Yes, I have been wondering why this thread has been so quiet. I’m guessing people are taking a break for now but it will heat back up closer to the new season starting.
I watched all of Season 2 on blu-ray including special features. I was a little annoyed that they said that Milah and Hook were married in one of the special features. Why did they not say it in the series then? It just seemed a bit of a big deal to reveal in a special feature.
I enjoyed the Jello deleted scene. Wish they had kept that in.
I think we have been hinted at some great things for Season 3.

Yeah, I am hopeful too. I think because it is Adam and Eddy, the love triangle could be done in an unexpected way.
I was also really thrilled to hear so many fellow shippers cheering in the crowd at Comic Con. They represented!

So I am kind of surprised I haven’t seen any posts here about Comic Con and what they had to say about CS. Curious to see what others thought – hopeful? skeptical?

As for what Colin said he doesn’t really know anything and the person asking the question said that he specifically gave an idea and Colin agreed it was a possibility but “who knows” so …for now, until we get to Comic Con I’m inclined to be suspicious of absolutely everything because hardly anybody knows anything – they’re in the writers room right now so the actors especially don’t know anything (I love them, I love hearing from them, I’m just tired of the obviously leading question – same goes for the official podcast where the lady clearly ships SF)
Yeah I am sure the actors don’t know much. Only the writers do. Still, I hope the CS teases happen though.

Emma does still have feelings for Neal, hence why she was getting jealous over Neal and Tamara, but the fact Neal essentially abandoned Emma is something that can’t just be forgotten. Emma may forgive Neal for what he did, she may try and make it work again with him, but she will always have that little worry that he might just up and abandon her again.
Hook and Emma have a lot in common and understand each other but are they too similar to each other that they can’t truly trust one another? Both have been willing to throw the other under the bus- Emma left Hook at the top of the beanstalk, and Hook has switched sides repeatedly depending on which side served him better. He helped Emma and Snow because they were safer company than Cora then switched back to Cora and worked against Snow and Emma. He then helped GOAT because they promised him Rumple’s death then switched sides to help the Charmings because he didn’t want to die. Hook came back because he felt guilty about Bae which all ties back to his feelings about Milah.
Milah and Bae are going to be the ghosts in a CaptainSwan relationship. Question is, will Emma and Hook be able to truly put those ghosts to rest?
I like the points you made Price. I think the biggest obstacle for both CaptainSwan and SwanFire is Emma herself. I don’t know how much she is willing to put herself out there again to get hurt. Both men also have lots of baggage too. I think there will be a struggle for Emma to start a romantic relationship with either guy. Look how long it took for her to open up to her son and parents!
