AmdillaeParticipant
I am not sure how many Dungeons and Dragons/Pathfinder players are on here but I was working on the assumption that Emma’s heart protections functioned somewhat like the spell resistance mechanic in that game .
Spell resistance in the game works like this, you always have a level of protection against magic being used against you but you can choose to lower your protection to temporarily allow for helpful magic to be used on you. The disadvantage is that that the protection is very much either on or off so removing the barrier even for a moment leaves you vulnerable to dangerous magics. I was thinking that the plot could have gone with Emma’s lower’s her protections only for Hades or someone to swoop in and attack while the opening existed.

AmdillaeParticipantLooks like Belle is in fact pregnant!
Unless Belle is Rumpel’s second child. I mean, as long as the show is doing Greek lore, there’s precedent.
No, no a thousand times no. This family tree may be approaching a level of twisted to rival that of Olympus, but we do not need to add incest to the ever winding branches.
And WickedRegal, I thought that Cora had not started to learn magic until well after Zelena was born so she could not have directly inherited any powers from her mother at that time.
With regards to the contract was it for Rumple’s second born or for Rumple and Milah’s second born or for either parent’s second born, that could lead to some interesting loophole options to the contract. Maybe there is a long lost baby Jones that may have actually payed this debt and Hades is totally bluffing on his end.

AmdillaeParticipantHerc is back to being a demigod with a mortal mother which is really cool and much more accurate to the original myth. However Meg was the blandest character that we have seen in any episode of this series and yet she was based on one of the most distinctive princess (not technically induced into the Princess line but she married the prince of the gods so she counts) in the entire Disney back catalogue. How could they have done that, did the writers make a script with a generic damsel and then realized “Oh wait Herc had a girlfriend in the movie better put her in or the fans will be upset”. I would have rathered Meg having been out of the picture or treated to the horror Anastasia got last season than what we saw in this episode.
Not to mention Herc first meets Meg as she is escaping from Cerberus which indicated she was either in or try to enter the Underworld, what is her unfinished business, are we meant to believe that all she needed was to meet and thank the guy who tried to save her, there is clearly something missing here.

AmdillaeParticipantI am wondering if I am the only one who didn’t think that Olympus was the “better place”. Herc and Meg see the glow that Henry Sr walked into to reach a better place but it then dissolves before they enter it to reveal Olympus. It seems to be that Olympus is a very special 3rd option that the ledge presents to demigod heroes whom finish their business while in the underworld, along the same lines as in the traditional Greek myths that the Isle of the Blessed is like the gated community of Elysium for the greatest of heroes.

AmdillaeParticipantI have an idea for an ‘a’ ending name that hasn’t’ come up yet and could overtake baby Neal for awkward naming, but I could see happening, Zelena. No I am not suggesting that Zelena names her daughter in a Lorelai Gilmore-eqse burst of feminism, I can see this scenario. Something or someone is threatening our soap opera plot point baby and Zelena makes a great and heroic sacrifice to protect her daughter and gain some manor of redemption. As she is dying, she begs Regina to be a real mother to the baby, unlike their own. In turn Regina names the baby after Zelena in some bizarre attempt to honor her.
I really don’t want to see this as it would be all kinds of wrong but I can see something this twisted happening.

AmdillaeParticipantI highly disagree with Merida’s teachings…it goes against all Disney rules with being a true hero! A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the size of his heart!
In her own way Merida’s training is strengthening his heart or at least allowing him to channel the love he feels into his combat. What we know is that Rumple is know as a coward and allows his fear to cripple him, Merida seems to using swordplay and taunting him with the teacup as a representation of the line
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear”
If her intention is to suppress Rumple’s fears through focusing his love for Belle, Merida may have a great strategy on her hands.

AmdillaeParticipantI am putting in another vote for an Underworld rescue for 5B with Hades at the villain helm. with regards to cast could they just get James Woods for Hades in Once, I can’t see anyone else pulling him off properly. As for Dr Facilier being on board I love the idea but am struggling on how Princess and the Frog that was set in New Orleans can be moved to the Enchanted Forrest.
Oh and like so many, that price was so not paid, what magical payment plan are the Charmings, I want in.

AmdillaeParticipantAm I the only one that is wondering who Violet is in the greater world of Camelot, I am wondering if it could turn out that she is Princess Violet, daughter of Arthur and Guinevere. Also if that is the case will she be involved in her parents’ potential shadiness and be responsible for Henry actually having inadvertently done something to Emma in our missing 6 weeks. While I am happy Henry is having a romantic plot I can’t see a character being introduced only for this

AmdillaeParticipantMaybe she has a thing for authors and we can get some Henry/Merida shipping going :D?
Eeek. I’d hope not! Amy Manson is actually 30. The boys were at least 11 years younger than Merida, so I’m wagering that she’s about 20-25 ish, making them 9-14. My guess is that she’s using “lads” because they are always going to be her younger brothers.
I wouldn’t want to be the one kidnapping the triplets if they were teenagers and they had inherited even a touch of their father’s size and still had their mischievous minds, the casualty list would be too large to fathom.
And RG, I am not in favor of the ship either but wanted to see some reactions.

AmdillaeParticipantI think we have now reached soap opera levels of amnesia and could not help being reminded of this line
Calculon [On All My Circuts]: “Let me get this straight: Does anyone here not have amnesia?”
