Hmmm, so it was Charming that Regina and Cora attacked. I wonder why Charming was at Gold’s shop? And why were Cora and Regina so hostile towards him?
After calming down a bit, I’ve decided to be an optimists. The path to restoring Belle’s memory is pretty clear and it’s already been proven that they are indeed true love. So, I know in the end, things will shape up alright for them. I think this rift in their relationship is simply part of Rumpel’s redemption arc. In roder to fully redeem a character you must first strip him/her of all their comforts. Riches, power and loved ones. So, Belle losing her memory is just part of that and she’ll regain it once Rumpel has started making some changes. Like a few others have already speculated, Rumpel will have to make quite a few sacrifices to prove to Belle that he loves her. So this might turn out to be a good thing. Their relationship will definitely be stronger for it.

At first, I thought they were referring to the fact that it had been 28 years since they had saw each other. But after the events of last week’s episode, their comments make a lot more sense. Yes, I remember those quotes too. I think that will be the plan for Rumbelle going forward this season. 😉
