Isn’t there a fairy tale along those same lines? Where they put all the princes (or princesses) in masks at a ball and invited the whole land and only the person who was meant to marry the heir actually found them because it was true love, ect. Am I hallucinating this fairy tale?
Isn’t one of the scenes in Jim Henson’s Labyrinth? when Sara finds Jareth in masks at a ball?
Even more, it is the way in which Romeo and Juliet met, without know who they are… and mainly a clichΓ© in that sort of “true tragic love” stories, i’m sure there are more.
So no, you are not hallucinating πandreth starkParticipant@ItachiIshtar wrote:

It does! Thank you!! ^^

Sounds like i should still wait til sunday πandreth starkParticipantSo, I’ve watched all them like… mmm… 15 times each one -or even more XDD- and these are my impressions:
To the first one: why should be royalty and nobility so meaning? it is annoying! I could understand an arrogant attitude if the miller’s daughter trip over the spoilt-royal Eva, but, hey girl!, you caused her to fall! It is just normal the peasant girl acted like that. Although it is not reason to kill her anyway.
To the second one: I love it. Even being in favor of Rumpelstiltskin+Belle relationship. Well, it is so out of context and self explanatory that it reminds me to my favorite nordic folktales ever, the ones on the girl with magical lover. I know there is not relationship between the story of Rumpel+Cora and those, but the sneak peak has that feeling…You know, the girl who fall in love with an elf-wizard-dwarf-(insert here your favorite magical male-shape creature) but can not be with him because their world are sooo different, and he remains being her lover til she married some human man, in an unhappy marriage that ends when the girl and her magical lover find each other again and die of grief -with some variations with or without children in between-. I probably won’t be so happy with the idea watching it in its context π or yes, who knows yet.
To the 3rd one: I love this “new Snow”! really, really love how her character is evolving. I want to see more on her -and this is crazy, since i’ve never enjoyed her character a lot. BTW… guys, your…. friend? -or whatever Gold is to them- is dying… hello? you can talk while driving, just bring him to a hospital!
To the 4th one: What could i say that you haven’t say yet? nothing XD I loved it, really moving and masterly performed. And again… why is not this dying man in a hospital? I could guess no normal medice would save him, but at least, it would be more confortable to lie in a bed, and probably nearer to Belle. I hopesome sort of explanation about that, it is really weird to me :S
To the 5th: Love the mother-daughter interaction here, but Regina is too surprised by her mother agenda. Come on, girl, it was quite obvious! Besides, i love those lines like the one of “the enchanted box”. They are reminders of those characters being not of our world adding some humor as addition ^^ -My favorite one is still the “sail to the edge of the world” of mr. Gold to Hook.-
Conclusion: is it already Sunday?

Accordiing to the above video I thought the person who would be killed was a good guy not a bad guy π
Well, yes, they say one of their own will die… but Snow keeps saying that now they all are a family, so Rumpelstiltskin would perfectly be “one of their own” in that sense. And as they expose clearly that it is not a figure of speech -since at the beginning i thought it was a metaphor to say that Snow was becoming darker-, he is the only one who fits the description..

No, you’re right. Dead is dead. So….this! What if the Dark One dies before Rumple dies. That magic completely leaves him and he’s so close to death that he’s now human, and that’s when Snow saves him. No more Dark One. It would be…interesting.
That would work for me! π But if they deny Mr.Gold his powers, or at least, magic, he is becoming the most fragile character of all in a world like that: a old lame man with nothing to defense himself from the great amount of enemies he has collected so to speak π – during the centuries. Starting from Regina and following by….well, te whole town.
I don’t know, it would be like break his other leg, not sure what would happen afterwards… But I still have that feeling and your explanation of how it could happen, convinced me ^^andreth starkParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:
What if dies, for a split second? Then the Dark One’s powers would be gone. And then Snow brings him back?
Mmm…. Dead is dead, isn’t it? I thought Snow’s candle only worked on those near to die, not on corpses?
andreth starkParticipantI have the feeling that somehow, besides Cora, The Dark One would die. That is as if both of the characters in the image die, but only one of them is physically dead. I mean, Cora dies -she must-, but Mr Gold is living…with no curse in him.
I don’t know how that would come to happen. Just a feeling i have since the sneak peaks, and now even more with this.andreth starkParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:
I don’t think Rumple is Regina’s father but I think Rumple was in love with Cora and decided the day of her wedding that he didn’t want her to marry Prince Henry. And I think that’s when she’ll break his poor heart and tell him “why would I want you when I could be a Queen.”
I totally agree with you. Besides, if Rumple has been alive for 300 years, i suppose he was not sitting down waiting for Belle, there were probably other women. Not “true love” but, 300 years of complete loneliness and not feeling anything at all would drive him mad.
There is only one thing I don’t understand -in the plot, in Cora’s train of thought, if the story goes as you expose here- : is really more powerful a random queen, no matter how rich and wide the kingdom, than the mistress of the Dark One?
