They didn’t return to their original form- they returned to their human form. Characters who are magical beings- talking animals, fairies, etc have been turned human.
I don’t think the curse necessarily undoes previous spells. I think one who was human in fairytale land would be human in our world even if he wasn’t originally human.
I watched the whole series! It aired when I was in college, when I had a dorm room with no television so I’d go catch it on the tv in the study room down the hall. I don’t really remember the story anymore as I haven’t seen it since, but I remember loving it. I love different takes on familiar stories.
I haven’t had any yet…but I keep wishing for one when I go to sleep since it’s the closest thing to a magical adventure. Ever since I was a kid, I would wish for the chance to magically appear in the world of a favorite story. It never happened of course. Sometimes, I’d start writing the story of it though. I have been day dreaming about appearing in Storybrooke lately, trying to explain to the characters that I watch them on tv. *snicker*
What makes you think Gepetto was being selfish? We don’t know the details yet- it sounds to me like this was a plan to help Emma- therefore not selfish at all, and probably not even Gepetto’s idea in the first place.
You know, I was thinking…maybe Pinocchio was sent to our world well before Emma…long enough for him to have found a home, and therefore he *would* be a local boy.
Or if he was sent at the same time, he might have just told a tale.
I think the girl with the braids is Emma herself. That article is part of a file on her which contains a collection of items.
Gee…I love the idea of him being Pinocchio…
It gives Emma an ally- another child from fairytale world who grew up in our world, only he was old enough to remember what happened. Emma needs another adult whom she trusts to be a believer in order to believe herself.
I think having him be a character with power would be a cop out.
