October 20th! Love having an October birthday. 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantDon’t worry- it has nothing to do with the show’s popularity. Lots of popular shows aren’t going to be there. They like to spread the wealth and trade off the shows they invite.
angiebelleParticipantI’m pretty sure Glee only went two years in a row. And Big Bang Theory isn’t listed for this year either. There are a lot of tv shows out there- I don’t think it’s anything personal against OuaT.
angiebelleParticipantNo, that was Comic-Con. Paleyfest is in March.
angiebelleParticipantBad news guys….Ouat isn’t on the line up this year. 🙁
Lost is having a 10 yr reunion though if anyone here is a Lostie. I didn’t watch it.
angiebelleParticipantI’m waiting with baited breath for the announcement. I really want to go again, but it depends on which weekend it is. If it’s the first weekend, I may be able to pull it off. If it’s the 2nd weekend, it’s a no go. I’m in a show that opens that weekend!
angiebelleParticipantFrom the moment we were introduced to Neal, I saw him and Emma as true loves. Having Emma be in love with someone else would feel almost as jarring to me as if would if Belle left Rumple.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t think Rumple is more gruff with Belle than you would expect, even if it were later in the story. It’s a very personal subject to him, and as we’ve have seen, it’s hard for him to open up- even later in Storybrooke. He wasn’t being truly mean. She just interrupted his ceremony and he reacted. I agree that it does require you to reach a bit to make that scene work. I think it was intended to be after Lacey but before the conversation in Skin Deep.
As far as new form of storytelling- I’m thinking it likely has to do with my prediction that the flashbacks are going to be to that year that we just skipped over.
angiebelleParticipantBut what I meant was, Belle’s dialogue to Rumple in this scene indicates that she already knows something about who he is memorializing. “How old was he?” suggests to me that she knows the person is a male child. Why would she just make this assumption? And the conversation during “Skin Deep” comes across as if this is the first time she’s brought up the topic of a child.
We don’t know what point Belle switched to the blue dress- I would think this scene takes place *after* “Lacey.” “Lacey” is immediately after she starts working for Rumple- the first couple days. I didn’t get the impression that the candle lighting conversation took place *quite* that early. She might have switched to the blue dress just after the events of “Lacey”- that’s a story we haven’t been told.
angiebelleParticipantOkay, maybe that scene took place long before the table scene in Skin Deep when they talked about Baelfire.
But that wouldn’t make any sense…Belle seems to know who Rumple is talking about in that scene. In the Skin Deep scene, we get the impression that this is the first time Belle has brought up the idea of the son.
