ParticipantIt hasn’t been announced yet. Last year it was the end of September.

ParticipantYes, that was so sweet of her to do an impromptu AskJen! I love reading her answers so much, I don’t even mind that my question wasn’t chosen. (I tried to ask her if she likes musical theater.) I love how down to earth and real the cast comes across.

ParticipantI would expect for the premiere episode, we will visit all the various locations that they have set up for S3. They have to set the stage for the rest of the season, so it wouldn’t make sense if we didn’t see the other characters in that first episode. Can’t wait to hear hints about what they plan for Storybrooke! I think that is what has been left the most unknown so far.

ParticipantI have to say, I’m glad I’m actually in the same time zone as the cast! lol. Sooo excited that they start filming today! Fingers crossed for some hints to emerge soon…I’m so hungry for new info, it’s not even funny!
This hiatus has been so hard for me- far harder than it was last year. Last year, the season was pretty much book ended. The curse was broken. The characters we love reunited…a mostly happy ending. The only mysterious thing was that magic was coming. This year we have a gang on a ship to Neverland, Henry kidnapped, Neal in Enchanted Forest, and Belle having the potential to finally get her own main story arc. The anticipation for what happens next is driving me mad!

ParticipantAlthough….what about Katherine communicating with that school in Boston? Or when Hansel and Gretel were going to get sent into foster care?

ParticipantYeah, magic was my assumption all along regarding upgraded technology and how they got supplies. I just want to know how it worked..like if it just poofed new stuff and no one noticed and just suddenly had memories of it as if it had been there all along.
So you don’t think they interacted with the outside world at all through the internet? That would be strange, wouldn’t it? If they did, I think those people in our world would get confused by what was going on in Storybrooke!
That’s right- Regina did mention choosing people she wanted to bring…guess I just wanted to see that concept in action!
Yes, I’m *really* hoping for more development for Belle too! I want to see more of her FTL past and I want them to really delve into her head about how all the terrible things that have happened to her and how she feels about them. Poor girl should need therapy!

ParticipantThat is an awesome photo! So much cooler than the standard fan with actors photo because of the funny reading over your shoulder pose. 🙂

ParticipantI don’t think it would make sense to not show Storybrooke in the first episode of the season, because that is the episode that sets up the rest of the reason. I imagine for that one they will show us the beginning of every story thread they plan to have us follow.

ParticipantCan’t wait to get the full report! Wish I could go, but usually someone records it- or at least they did last year.

ParticipantIt’s funny- I totally agree with your negative points, but I still rather enjoyed the book. It was fun getting into Emma and Snow/Mary Margret’s heads. Most of your cons relate directly to your first point- that the stories are told from only 2 points of view so any moment they were not directly involved in gets only a passing mention. I was wondering how they were going to do that when I first heard they were doing it that way. I thought it was pretty clever to have Henry recount the other characters’ stories through his book, but yes- I missed having them fully fleshed out. They could have done a set of books instead of trying to squish the whole season into one.
I didn’t notice all of the dialogue changes because unlike many other Oncers, I haven’t actually gone back and rewatched earlier episodes! I did notice that Rumple never said “Dearie” which I thought was odd.
I think the book is at least worth a read for any Oncer. I would just recommend going in knowing it’s not an exact transcript of the show and accept it for what it is- a quickly produced and thrown together adaptation made to cash in on the popularity of the show . It’s fun to make comparisons. I agree that one should only read it if one is familiar with the series, or it might get awfully confusing.
