Oh, I was initially very upset too! I was almost in tears at the goodbye scene not just because it was a sad scene but because I thought Belle was going to be forgotten. I keep watching the last two kiss scenes from the finale over and over. I love RumBelle together too.
[adrotate group="5"]I agree with RumplesGirl- this separation is going to help Belle come into her own so that when RumBelle does reunite, she’ll be stronger than ever and finally fully integrated into the town. I’m really looking forward to the new storyline.
My theory is that Neal will find a way back to Storybrooke and will be surprised to discover his family has left. Belle will tell him what happened to Henry, and he will want to go after them. Maybe Neal will even figure out where they went since he knows Neverland. It is true that Belle wouldn’t know where they went.
I totally think Belle and Neal will end up teaming up! And just because there won’t be more beans doesn’t mean there won’t be other ways…after all, we have to get the core characters home. I predict there will be some communicating between lands.
You know, clearly the Shadow can travel between our world and Neverland….

Yes, that is a good point…there was a big difference between how he acted when he thought Auguest was Bae and when it really was Bae. Magic is definitely his weakness- no denying that.
You know, one thing that struck me as interesting is that even with the whole storyline of Rumple and Regina being addicted to magic- no one had magic while the curse was in place. Regina went 29 years with no magic…granted she still had a lot of power over the town with everyone dong what she wanted at least until Emma showed up. Rumple had his memories back once Emma told him her name, so he was without magic for the entire first season and was able to navigate life pretty well I’d say.

I’ve heard of Fables- a friend told me I really ought to check it out.The idea of fairy tales in the real world has certainly been done before- no concept is ever entirely original. What makes it original is the way in which it plays out.
