Normally, I scold myself for indulging in too many spoilers, but in this case, I'm really glad I already know that Neal survives or the suspense in waiting for the finale would be nearly unbearable.
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantThis is fun! I’m enjoying learning more about you all- we are all so much more than just Oncers!
I forgot to mention, I do have cute critters- we just adopted a pair of brother and sister kitties at the beginning of the year. 🙂
Meet Emily and Oliver:
angiebelleParticipantYes, if you do the math, he was only 11! I think that was an oversight on the creators’ part- you also have Chip who is younger than 10. In fact, in the Broadway show, the line “until his 21st year” was changed to “for many years.” If he was only 11, the enchantress comes across as being awfully cruel!
There used to be a website many years ago called Ever Notice in which people would point out all kinds of random amusing things they noticed in Disney films.
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite too! Hence the screen name. 🙂 I have nearly the whole thing memorized word for word. Reciting the prologue for that one and for Aladdin was a sort of parlor trick of mine back in college.
angiebelleParticipantangiebelleParticipantThe other day, I dreamed that I was at some event and Jennifer Morrison and Lana Parilla were sitting on a bench. I got to have a picture with them and came in between them, posing with my arms around each of them. I kept saying timidly that I’d like a pic on my own camera (I’m not sure whose camera we were posing for) but they didn’t hear me. Finally I said, “Can I please have a copy of the picture?” and Lana tried to upload it to her phone but the connection was very slow.
angiebelleParticipantI’m getting really excited by the prospect that I just might be able to go after all! I think it might be sensory overload! lol. None of the actors listed so far are anyone I truly have my heart set on meeting, but it would still be very cool! I loved being among Oncers at Paleyfest, and this would be an even larger scale. I do wish I had a friend going to share a hotel room with though. My husband watches the show with me and enjoys it, but he doesn’t care to obsess over it like I do so I don’t think he is interested in going,
angiebelleParticipantHa! It would be funny if next season, everything is in reverse- the present day is in another realm and we see flashbacks of Storybrooke!
angiebelleParticipantI have read lots of fairy tale based children’s books!
Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Ella actually made it to the ball herself- the fairy godmother thing was just a rumor. Unfortunately, after she is set to marry the prince, she discovers he is completely vapid and that she has a distaste for the royal life. She decides to escape.Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
(Yes, a movie was based on this, but the book is very different) This Ella has a fairy’s “gift” put on her that she most obey any direct command given to her.Fairest by Gail Carson Levine
This takes place in the same world as the other book but is a new take on Snow White. The Wide Awake Princess by E.D. Baker
When Sleeping Beauty’s younger sister Princess Annie is born, her parents beg the fairies to guard her against the gifts of the wicked fairy. She is then gifted with not only being immune to magic, but any magic near her looses it’s effect. So when the entire castle falls under the sleeping curse, she is the only one left awake and must find a prince to wake up her sister.Fairest of All by Serena Valentino
This book is actually published by Disney and is their answer to Wicked. It is the tale of how the Wicked Queen from Snow White became wicked- like Regina, that wasn’t always the case.Whatever After by Sarah Myinowski
A modern day girl and her brother accidentally end up in Snow White’s story and talk her out of taking the apple from the old hag. Unfortunately this changes her story so that she doesn’t end up with the prince so they try to fix it! This is the first in a series. The 2nd one is about Cinderella but I haven’t read it yet.angiebelleParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:
Took me forever, but here’s the tweet from Beverly, re: her last day.
Beverley Elliott @TheReelBeverley 5 Apr
Had a wonderful final day for Granny Season 2 of OUAT. A little meloncoly until Lana bought ice cream for EVERYONE!! Thanks Lana
She states last day for season 2, not last day forever!
angiebelleParticipantOops! You are right! I goofed…thanks, I will fix that. And I forgot to mention the clothes- silly me. I knew there was something I missed.
