What is up with them giving us a sneak peek that was already part of that 8 minutes? That’s cheating!
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantThe London they were depicting wasn’t Dickens era though. The citizens were definitely wearing early 20th century style fashions. Peter Pan takes place around 1900.
angiebelleParticipantActually, in Bewitched, I think it was physical not emotional. Someone smacked Serena on the bottom and Samantha felt it. So if Regina and Snow were connected like that, Snow would feel the shock treatment.
angiebelleParticipantI’m pretty sure Bae is *not* Peter at this point because the promo showed a scene in which Wendy is flying off with what appears to be Peter in the distance while calling out to Bae who is standing in the window.

angiebelleParticipantI don’t think that tradition works very well with OuaT’s nontraditional approach to Hook himself.
angiebelleParticipantYup, cookies sound good to me…

Seems. I’m going to take some hope from that word “seems” there. He might be enjoying letting out his rage for Lacey but that’s not what he really wants. He really wants family. With Belle and Bae and Emma and Henry.
Would you like to join me over here in my corner with the rocking back and forth?
Can I join you too? I’m really nervous now…almost to the point of tears, I’m embarrassed to admit. No TLK?! But I have been waiting for that moment since she fell over the line!
Just please let Emilie still be a regular next year, that’s all I ask!
Curious about the new take on Neverland…I’m such a big fan of Neverland- I hope they don’t do something I really don’t like,
angiebelleParticipantI’d rather prefer they stick to storybook classics…wasn’t too thrilled with the Frankenstein inclusion. I agree that Star Wars wouldn’t work- at the very least everything they’ve used has been book based, not film based, and I don’t think using Star Wars would be very organic to the show.
I could see them using Narnia, although I’m less interested in that than Oz or Neverland.
I think it’s strange when people ask for them to include studio specific characters. For instance, I’ve seen a lot of people clamoring for Ruffio from Hook… but he is specific to that film’s mythology of Neverland and doesn’t exist in any other take on Peter Pan. That character is owned by the studio that created that film. I also see Hook as a “what if” scenario rather than part of the real Pan story.
It’s a similar deal for the idea of using the world of Labyrinth. They are studio specific characters and worlds owned by the Jim Henson Company. In general, they’ve used stories that exist across multiple plains- fairytales that have been around in many different forms since the beginning of time, books that are so ingrained in our culture that they are instantly recognizable in any version.

Between what Robert and Emilie have said, I’m starting to get really nervous about what happens with Belle!
I’m also not sure what to think about the idea of the show leaving Storybrooke altogether. The fairytale characters in our world scenario is a big part of what drew me to the show in the first place. I love fish out of water stories.
Keep the faith! *this has become my new mantra, I swear*
I do like the “fish out of water” stories of ONCE but think about it this way: Snow White in Neverland is just as out of water as SW in our world. Whole new exploration.
I love seeing our world from the prospective of an outsider- they have had so few of those moments…just little things like Aurora questioning Emma’s coat or Belle wanting to taste a hamburger for the first time. I want more of that! I want the characters talking about how strange it is for them that their stories are part of our world’s culture. They seem to just accept that in stride rather than react to it. Would love to see them reference the Disney films!
As for Belle, yes, I’m trying to stay positive. It does sound like she will remember- I just wish there wasn’t so much going on that she keeps getting pushed to the side, and her storyline gets shortchanged. They could do so much more with her. I want her to blossom as a fully integrated character. Right now, the other characters see her only as Rumple’s girlfriend, and while I love RumBelle, that makes me a little sad. Fingers crossed that Emilie is still a series regular next season!
