ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
It’s possible that it’s Snowing again, but I’d be rather disappointed if that is the case! That would be boring- we’ve seen it already. I’m still rooting for RumBelle.
Slurpeez- pics of the pawn shop decorated?! Where’d you see that and how did I miss it?
Of the three main couples they teased when that spoiler first appeared, RumBelle is the only one that makes sense because OutlawQueen and CaptainSwan are still in the courting phase. RumBelle is established, and Rumple all but proposed to her when they were reunited in “The New Neverland.” (“The only path I want is the one where you and I are together”) After all they’ve been through, I think it would make complete sense for them to finally say their vows. I’m not sure the show would actually choose to go that route since Rumple and Belle have basically been their star-crossed lovers, but I’d love for them to do so as long as they can keep the relationship and the characters interesting.
If it’s not RumBelle and it’s one of the more minor couples, that would be a bit more anticlimactic. Abigail and David is an interesting thought, although I don’t expect Zelena to actually *succeed* in changing the past. We shall see.
Found the Canadian one! It’s only slightly different:
I’m really excited to meet Dorothy! I wonder if her story is going to end up playing out in the present day and she will help defeat Zelena just as she always has in the original story.
Dorothy is her own character! Yay! I got my wish!
I was going to suggest Dorothy.
Regina is training Emma to use her magic! I’m excited to see where they are going with this.
While the episode wasn’t my favorite, I LOVED the ending! I totally called Genie Jafar. And everyone else got happy endings! I feared they’d leave Ana dead, so glad she got to start over. And how beautiful was that wedding and the scene with their daughter later.
The funny thing about Alice writing her own story is that the book already exists in our world and has for over a century. OuaTiW coincides with S2 of OuaT which means fictional Victorian London coincides with our world. How does that work anyway? Does fictional London just stay perpetually Victorian and never moves forward in time?
Don’t worry, they only shot down that the scene about “Mrs. Gold” was foreshadowing. That doesn’t mean a wedding won’t happen. It could still go either way. Hope isn’t gone until the episode has aired.
Oooh…interesting idea, Matt!
