He took a picture of Henerys tag on his back pack with his phone.
Oh! Good catch- I must have missed that!
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantThey did? I checked B&Ns thoroughly twice but could not find it!
angiebelleParticipantWhile this episode wasn’t nearly as epic as last week’s, it still had a lot of great moments. It was a nice to have a calmer episode after the intensity of the last few. I was surprised at the “Groundhog’s Day” effect of their day to day life, but I guess that makes the most sense with the way time was frozen. So basically, things repeat with slight differences, and it’s only Regina’s actions that alter things. I wonder if she started changing things up a lot out of boredom after a while. How on earth did she stand 28 years of that? Why did she wait 18 years to adopt Henry?
It was fun to see a cursed Mr. Gold- so calm and mellow! I find it funny that some people are *still* debating as to whether he ever lost his memories- there was a whole plot point about this! If he didn’t have a cursed personality, he wouldn’t had have a problem leaving Storybrooke. (And Gold’s line about Archie’s being the next door over was great.)
We only got a little of Regina’s reactions to our world- enjoying the clothes and pancakes for the first time. Was she automatically given knowledge of our world like everyone else was or did she have to figure it out for herself? I had wanted to see more of that.
Regina’s behavior in this episode was pretty disturbing- the way she tried to force Owen and Kurt to stay, her control over Graham, her plans for Henry. I wish she would learn her lesson sometimes.
Loved seeing Mr. Gold protect Snow, although I was sad he had to be practically forced into it. It was interesting what he said to Snow about how he lives with himself.
I feel for Henry- poor kid was raised by Regina and is blood related to Rumple! His words to his family were great, mirrored the things I wanted to say to the characters myself. I completely understand his behavior- none of the adults in his life really know how to parent. He is caught in this major crossfire.
Wow- Snow is feeling suicidal! I don’t blame her- people who are that depressed as disillusioned. They often don’t think about those who would be left behind. I’ve noticed on fanboards that people often question why a character behaves this way or that and get annoyed with the writers, but everyone’s actions have made sense to me- from Regina blaming Snow White for Daniel’s death to her reverting back and joining with her mother to Snow White sinking into extreme depression. My dad is a psychiatrist. People are complicated- they don’t always think with reason. Regina has been psychologically disturbed, manipulated her whole life, first by Cora, then by Rumple.
Speaking of Rumple, I really liked how he was trying to be a voice of reason for Regina, encouraging her to give up on revenge already. I like that he was genuine in this moment, paying respects to Cora and not taking the opportunity to knock Regina down further.
The scene when Regina takes Snow’s heart was probably the biggest wow moment for me. I knew Snow was going to survive, but didn’t predict how- Regina is going to let her self destruct! I actually like this because it means that Regina will lay low and with Cora gone, the characters will finally have a chance to breath! We have barely had an episode this season in which they weren’t in a constant state of danger. I miss the lighter, slice of life moments of the first season.
I *knew* Owen was going to turn out to be Greg! I wonder why he has a different name. I also wonder how on earth he knew to call Regina about Henry and where he even got her phone number. Regina didn’t seem to even know about his presence. I also was right that Greg is a real outsider and not a book character, although he has a connection to the town so he did had a reason for being there. I’m glad we know his story now. I wonder if he will notice that no one has aged. I’m sure he remembers Regina. I wonder what happened to Kurt.
Neal and Emma were great in this episode. I loved the whole exchange about “And you fell for that?! He’s YOUR son!”
We are getting down to the last episodes of the season- can’t wait to see where they will take us next!
angiebelleParticipantYes, I remember this show! It was probably my first introduction to many of the classic fairytales- or at least the ones not done yet by Disney at the time. It’s been years since I’ve seen them, but I do remember Robin Williams as The Frog Prince.
angiebelleParticipantI was wondering about that too…I wasn’t expecting such a close daily repeat! Wow- how did Regina stand 28 years of that? It must have driven her bonkers after a while. I imagine she did try to change things up at some point.
angiebelleParticipantMaybe his behavior is due to fear…I hope so. I don’t understand how he can still be so cold towards the Charmings after everything that has happened. He seems to be unable to have any empathy. I want to go up to him and say, “What if it were Belle? How would you feel if Regina had plans to kill Belle instead of Snow?”
angiebelleParticipantI’m really wondering where they are going to take this. Are they all going to Neverland? Is the cast going to be split up again? I hope they don’t stop having Storybrooke on the show all together.
I don’t think all the other worlds were completely affected by the curse- that would just be too many people in one town! I think Regina handpicked a few specific people to come along- Jefferson, Whale, etc.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t think that’s Emma smiling…I think it’s Jennifer Morrison smiling. Generally, photos like those are of behind the scenes and aren’t taken during moments when they are actually filming.
angiebelleParticipantI got the impression that Rumple had a break in or something and that is when he noticed that the ingredients were missing. I do think this is Regina’s intended curse to use and not Rumple’s.
angiebelleParticipantI am guessing that beach is Neverland- I wasn’t aware of any beaches in Storybrooke!
