angiebelleParticipant
I had faith in this all along! 🙂 I *knew* they couldn’t possibly leave Belle forever without her memories. That would just be depressing.
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantDo the actors generally hang around and do meet and greets afterwards? I keep day dreaming about meeting them, but I don’t want to get my hopes up! (Ginnifer Goodwin is from Memphis! I grew up in Germantown which is a Memphis suburb. 🙂 My parents are still there.)
I do plan on bringing a camera as well as my smartphone, but I don’t know if I’ll be posting during the event itself as I won’t want to miss anything while looking down at my phone. But I will definitely try to get at least some pictures- especially if I get to pose with anyone from the show!
angiebelleParticipantTickets bought!! My sister and I are going!!!
*BOINGY*BOINGY*BOINGY*angiebelleParticipantI just read about that on Twitter! And I am so excited because I think I might be able to go! I live in Northern CA but my sister lives in LA, and I had already intended to visit her that weekend for her 30th birthday on March 4th. She watches OuaT too! 🙂 I’m bouncing with giddiness right now!
Bit of a bummer Emilie isn’t listed this year…anyone who gets to portray Belle in any form is my hero.
angiebelleParticipantI guess I’m a bit biased…Belle is my very favorite- long before OuaT. I have used the screenname AngieBelle in her honor since I was 15. I love the idea of Lacey being Belle’s Storybrooke name because that would mean we are getting a Belle centric episode- likely a RumBelle episode in which he earns her love again and brings back her memories. I want to see him fight for her.
Did Regina personally create *everyone’s* Storybrooke backstory? She couldn’t have possibly known everything about everyone. Obviously, she had some control, but how much?
I hope they will tell us in the next episode whether Belle has an identity.
angiebelleParticipantI suppose you never can tell with Adam and Eddie- I’m still not thrilled with their whole Frankenstein angle. I’m not big on them bringing in non storybook characters.
Truth is, I would not be surprised if Belle was frequently drugged while in the asylum. I’m surprised it didn’t have a bigger effect on Belle even after the curse was broken, but she seems to have made it through ok- well, before she was forced over the town line.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t know if she actually *is* Nurse Ratched as part of the show’s storyline. I think she was just made to resemble her as a gag- a nod to the character, but it remains to be seen if she actually behaves like her.
angiebelleParticipantWe haven’t really seen the nurse act that mean. We’ve only seen her as a stoic receptionist. She was probably the one who took care of Belle all those years, and she was called in to help Belle calm down. Belle’s Storybrooke persona is likely one of someone who believes herself to be crazy and has always been told it was so. I don’t think she has complete amnesia- she probably has a whole false identity with false memories, and I’m sure at the very least she remembers being locked up in the asylum. As far as she knows, she suddenly woke up in the middle of the street with searing pain and a strange man yelling and then wielding magic. No wonder she is freaking out! I wonder if Ruby is trying to convince her of magic again. It is so nice to see that Ruby comes to visit her- she was her first friend in Storybrooke after all.
angiebelleParticipantI don’t think Lacey would be Mr. Gold. In today’s society- of which Storybrooke is supposed to be a part of, Lacey is usually a girl’s name. I just can’t imagine Gold with such a feminine first name.
angiebelleParticipantI really like the idea that Lacey is Belle’s Storybrooke name! I don’t think Belle was a complete blank slate in the asylum. She probably had an identity and false memories just like everyone else- at least that is what I’m hoping. It makes her storyline much more interesting than having her with no memories at all- we already did the amnesia storyline with David last year. We haven’t seen enough of Storybrooke Belle to know what she believes about herself. Does she have memories of being locked up in the hospital? Does she have memories of being a child? Does she believe herself to be crazy and a danger to herself?
I actually asked Jane Espenson on Twitter if Belle had an identity or was a blank slate, and she replied that was exactly what I should be asking and to keep watching.
