I really hope Regina is not Rumpel’s daughter. I think that just makes things too messy and makes Rumpel look even worse. I do think that Regina was the first born promised to Rumpel for helping the miller’s daughter spin straw into gold. In the original story, the deal falls through because the miller’s daughter is able to find out Rumpel’s name. Rumpel has mentioned holding Regina as a baby.
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantWell, I know she’ll remember being in the asylum. I meant does she have false memories of a past that never happened as the other characters do- like how David had childhood memories of reading Alice in Wonderland.
Yes, I agree that if she did remember meeting Mr. Gold, seeing him act the way he did that night would still freak her out. He needs to be a little more understanding- it’s going to take a lot to win Belle back over, which is what I think he is going to have to do to get her memories back.
angiebelleParticipantOh! I didn’t know that. At any rate, it was used in the same joking way.
angiebelleParticipantI think Greg is honestly an ordinary guy who decided to go exploring. I don’t think there should be any more random story characters wandering our world- it would require too many loop holes in the curse. Besides, that storyline has been done already with August. I want to see what happens when someone from our world discovers Storybrooke. That is more interesting to me than having him have an Enchanted Forest identity.
I think “Her” is just a joking label for his significant other…I knew someone once who referred to his wife as “She Whom Must be Obeyed.”
angiebelleParticipantI think Emma was just so relieved to be able to tell the others that Greg saw nothing, that she was quick to accept his lie. Her ability to tell when others are lying isn’t a *real* super power, and sometimes it fails her if she is emotionally involved. And yes- her lack of interrogation skills probably have to do with the fact the she is not a real, trained sheriff and wasn’t sure exactly how to go about it.
angiebelleParticipantInteresting episode. I saw it a day late as I was out of town at my cousin’s wedding on Sunday. The wait drove me crazy, and then the episode only gave a little taste of what I was so eager to see- what Belle would be like without her memories. I’m really not into the whole Frankenstein storyline at all, although I did like the little moment between him and Red. I did like the Storybrooke plot, although I was disappointed about Regina going back to her mother. I had been so proud of her for her initial rejection.
I don’t think Cora is lying here…she really does want her daughter back and wants to reconnect. She just knows no other way to go about it besides her usual manipulation.
What was up with Cora and Rumpel?! There is certainly a story to tell there! (I really hope Rumpel isn’t Regina’s dad…there is something very disturbing about that idea, and it isn’t something I want to see.)
Rumpel trying to get Belle to remember was just heartbreaking! First, he tries true love’s kiss, which doesn’t work because she has to love him back- much the way Snow White didn’t remember Charming in “Heart of Darkness.” I love how Belle was just about to smile until she woke up and screamed. I don’t blame her- I’d scream too if i woke up to some strange guy kissing me on the lips! Then he tries the cup…I wonder what sort of charm he put on it. When Belle smashed the cup, the look on Rumpel’s face was as if someone just tore his heart out. I almost cried. It’s amazing how this show can make you feel for a character who does such horrible things. Now, without Belle there in spirit, he is starting to revert back to his dark ways- that is why he threatened the Charmings. I hope that he learns that he must earn Belle’s love back in order to get her memories back. I want to see his tender side.
It will be very interesting to see Emma and Gold out in the real world…and I very much believe and hope that Neal is Bae. I want to see Rumpel’s reaction when he realizes Henry is his grandson.
The Charming family was very amusing to watch this episode. I am loving having them reunited- and Emma and Snow discovering what happened while they were gone was priceless.
I think Greg is a real outsider- he does not come across as someone with any connections to Storybrooke.
angiebelleParticipantI think more than one of those will be correct. Belle will initially be terrified. Rumple will likely have to woo her and earn her love all over again in order for true love to bring back her memory. And I think Rumple will become a better person through his efforts to get Belle back (although I can imagine him attempting to use magic first). I do believe they will end up together in the long run- at least one can hope.
angiebelleParticipant3 more sneak peeks!

angiebelleParticipantI have full confidence Belle will get her memories back. I’ll bet what it will take is Rumple earning her love all over again- as in order for true love to work, it has to go both ways. They demonstrated this in the episode when Snow White went dark. It’s going to be great to see the tender side of Rumple come out in full force. I’m actually excited to learn who Belle thought she was during the curse.
angiebelleParticipantI think “Snow White wasn’t always Snow White” could mean that maybe she wasn’t always so sweet- that she went through a period in which she was a bratty child.
