Ok, Ok, you guys win! I was not thrilled with the idea that he was Dr. Frankenstein, but after seeing that promo, it looks as if he has to be. And my suggestion about how that could work after all appears to be correct. Well, as long as they have a good reason for a Victorian doctor to be in the enchanted forest, I guess the Frankenstein theory can be made to make sense.

I knew Rumple was going to cut off his hand the moment Killian called him a crocodile.
He is a different sort of Hook than I’m used to, but I like him- definitely very attractive! And I like the polite villain aspect- he has not developed into a true villain yet. I suspect we will see how he became one.angiebelleParticipantlol!
Ok- good point!
angiebelleParticipantI do like the idea of Bae as Henry’s father because it connects him to the rest of the show- otherwise, the character of Henry’s father is just incidental. Also, having Rumple realize he has a grandson might help him discover the sparks of humanity that he has left.
My one problem with the idea of Bae being Peter Pan is that the magic bean is supposed to have sent him to a place with no magic. Neverland has magic, therefore it doesn’t make sense that Bae ended up there. He has to have been sent to our world- that is the whole reason the curse took everyone there to begin with.
angiebelleParticipantThis link has a second sneak peak!

Cora must have seen Emma and Snow get thrown into the pit and then went to meet them. One thing that I do wonder about though is the fact that they are talking to Cora when they get the news that they have been summoned. How could Cora have, as Lancelot, had them summoned at the same time that they were talking to her as Cora in the Pit?
angiebelleParticipantI do think we may see Oz in the future, but I don’t think that line was any more than a throw a way. I think it was just intended for a chuckle, not a deliberate reference to something that might actually happen.
angiebelleParticipantI thought this episode was particularly awesome- seeing Regina at the very beginning of her corruption, seeing Rumple have a moment of weakness, seeing Regina and Rumple meet for the first time, and best of all: Regina finally admitting a desire to be redeemed. My jaw hit the figurative floor when she let Henry go home with the prince. As evil as she has been in the past, I can’t help but root for her to turn over a leaf. It’s like that line in the musical Wicked, “The most celebrated are the rehabilitated.” Of course, it both Rumple and Regina turn over, we’ll need new villains!
Another great part of this episode was the whole “we are both” theme in which we deal with the characters having two identities. I loved the prince’s speech at the end. I’m also thrilled to see that August is alive. I can’t wait to see more reunions.
You know, I think it’s about time Rumple *told* someone about his whole quest to find his son. Then he wouldn’t have to go it alone- especially if he finally confided in Belle. It would prove that deep down, he does have a heart.
angiebelleParticipantYes, that is what I have suspected all along- that Regina is the baby that was supposed to have been given to Rumple in exchange for spinning straw into gold. That’s why he has taken a particular interest in her. I also think that corrupting her was part of his plan. He needed to get someone else to reach the point of making the ultimate sacrifice in order to enact the curse.
angiebelleParticipantI’m pretty sure the answer is Rumple. I got the sense- particularly from the Skin Deep episode that they once had an apprentice/master relationship.
