I love seeing the clip with the Charmings! That is the aspect of the 2nd season I’m most excited about. I was just dying watching that clip- I want to see what happens next so badly!
[adrotate group="5"]angiebelleParticipantYes, Neverland definitely has magic- there are fairies! Tinker Bell isn’t the only one- she’s just the only one who hangs around Peter. There are also children who never grow up. And don’t forget flying by pixiedust. That all counts as magic. It may be more limited than what we see in the enchanted forest, but it’s still there.

I don’t know about that. We’ve seen Season 2 stills of Henry seemingly floating outside his bedroom window already. In the upcoming TV Guide issue, Josh Dallas talked about Emma & Henry’s dad. Here is what he said: “there is a certain percentage of this man that Emma knows, and a certain part that she doesn’t. She had some sort of relationship with him, but there is an element of surprise for Emma as to the fullness of who this man is.”
It makes sense to me that if Bae is indeed Peter Pan, Emma would not know this and only know him as a child of 14 onwards. The surprise would be that she finding out his true FT identity. Henry, being his son, might inherit his special “flying” abilities. Seems to me it’s looking more and more like a probability.
When I saw those pictures, my thought was that Henry was trying to either run away or sneak inside the house by climbing out or into the window- you can see the rope made of sheets he used to climb if you look closely, and Regina stopped him with magic and lifted him up the same way her mother once lifted her when she was angry. I don’t think Henry was flying by choice.
Having him be Peter would require a lot of explanation as to why Peter was not in Neverland anymore and ended up growing up.
It isn’t completely implausible, I suppose, but I’m not fond of that theory. It just feels too complicated.
I think a more simple explanation is that Bae merely ended up in our world when he went through the portal, grew older, and met Emma.
angiebelleParticipantI would be very surprised if Dr. Whale turned out to be Frankenstein. The story of Frankenstein doesn’t connect with the rest of the worlds we’ve been introduced too- he certainly doesn’t belong in an enchanted forest. Every other character has been part of a legend, a myth, a fairytale, or a classic children’s book.
Personally, the God complex comment makes me think he might be some Greek myth character, but I really have no idea.
I hope he isn’t Peter Pan- while I can’t completely rule it out, I’d prefer that they didn’t age Peter. At least that theory is a little plausible. I can see a little of Peter’s personality in Dr. Whale, but I have my doubts.

Also, while I do love the movie Hook, I’d rather they didn’t go the route of a grown up Peter Pan. That would be sad- although it isn’t to say that won’t go that direction.
I am thinking more and more that Bae is Henry’s father. I think that would be a great way to connect those characters to the others.
I haven’t a clue who Dr. Whale is, but I get the impression he isn’t an especially heroic character. I don’t think Frankenstein fits in with the worlds represented in this show- but hey, you never know.
angiebelleParticipantYay! Finally new footage! I CANNOT wait!
angiebelleParticipantEEE! I can NOT wait for the Charming family reunion! So excited! I love that they decided to end the curse.

Somehow, I just don’t think I could talk my husband into wearing drag….
And yes- he does watch the show with me, although he doesn’t get why I obsess over finding clues about spoilers and speculating over what happens next. He says he prefers to just enjoy the show as it’s on.
angiebelleParticipantOh, of course! You’ll have to patient though- my birthday isn’t for nearly another 3 months.
I’m researching a Little Red costume- she is the one I’d look the best as…although the downside to dressing as her is there isn’t really a good corresponding costume for my husband.
angiebelleParticipantOoh purple fizzy punch- I like it!
All great ideas! 🙂
