My money’s on Archie dying. If Cora finds out about him helping Regina, she would def stop that.
There was this spoiler from yesterday from Spoiler TV that points to either Pongo or Archie being the “death”, and both would fit the description of beloved fairy tale character. I still think it will be Archie, even though I’m not sure he’ll actually die, because I can’t see them killing off a dog because of the complaints that it would get.
Plus, on the show, if Pongo were murdered, I don’t know why the other characters would think that Regina would have to be the one behind it since she may be a lot of things: rapist; murderer of children, her own father, etc.; abusive mom, but there’s no reason for her to kill a dog. On the other hand, if it’s Archie that dies, or it seems like he’s dead, I could see people believing that they had some kind of fall out from their therapy sessions, and Regina returned to her old ways again.
There’s another reason why I don’t think it’s Pongo that dies, and that’s because I know several weeks ago there was the spoiler about Pongo being seen on the set and barking. I forget whether Archie was in those scenes or not though. It’s possible that Pongo alerts Emma and the others that something is wrong and that’s how they find that Archie was “murdered” at the beginning of the episode and that’s why Pongo is being given a title card.

I don’t really think that Princess Emma, the savior, daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, the main protagonist of the show married the white rabbit (a minor character) counterpart? That theory is a bit off don’t you think so? It makes more sense if he’s Baefire even if it’s a little clique :/
I think he’s Baelfire too, but it’s possible that they could make him more than just Baelfire. If I had to rank the characters that he might also be besides Baelfire, I would say Peter Pan first, them Wizard of Oz or one of the trio of men that Dorothy made her journey with, and finally the White Rabbit. It could be possible that he’s some kind of combination of two or more of those characters as well as being Bae too.
I’m just wondering why he’s running from Emma because I thought his love of her would outweigh the fear and loathing that he has of his father. If he’s trying to get her to follow him to show her something that leads her down a “rabbit hole” that could be one reason.
Or I guess he could feel he’s still unworthy of her, but why run then Neal? It’s also possible I suppose that after they parted, he got in with a bad crowd and has to do things for them first before he can seek out Storybrooke.
I don’t know, but I hope it’s a really good reason and that it’s not just because he’s scared. If he’s running to some place to show Emma something or some people, then I would understand otherwise, so for right now that’s my head canon.

ParticipantAhhhh!!!!!! I just read this on Tumblr,
βThe first scene I saw filming was of Michael Raymond-James and Jennifer Morrison running into an alley way. This was a really quick scene and they only did two takes! Something that I have never scene on a Once set before. Next up was Jennifer Morrison on her own running across a busy street and almost getting hit by a NYC Taxi cab whilst chasing Michael Raymond-Jamesβs body double towards the alley way.β
By the way, I really love all of these images of Emma running that are on Tumblr too.
Some day I might even actually make one my avatar here.

But is it really broken? I guess I’m confused about the barrier. Is the magic that Rumpel released what will make people lose their memories if they cross the border? Or would it have always been like that? And if it would always be like that… that’s a crappy breaking of a curse… if they’re still stuck.
I don’t think it’s broken all the way. I think the only way that it will be broken is if they all can return to FTL if they choose to or something along those lines.
I also didn’t think the final battle took place yet. I’m not positive, but from the quotes from K&H, I thought that it was something way into the future.
Someone else pointed it out on tumblr that Emma also wore a skirt in episode 21 when she went to Regina’s.
Oh well, but it is striped very much evoking the black and white striped dress she was wearing the night that she and Neal were suppose to start their new life. π₯

ParticipantSorry double post, but this picture made me smile too. Just imagine Emma skipping because Neal's back in her life. π Okay, maybe that's a little bit too soon for that to happen, but she's wearing a skirt. The only other time she's dressed up like that was in the pilot and at the Sheriff's debate, but the audience didn't really get to see her dressed up in that episode. It looks like we're going to see it now, and it's for Nealfire. Awwwww!!!! π

I wouldn’t say he is one of the most effected by it.
True, but few can deny that he’s as unaffected as Rumple intended. It defiantly did screw with his life in some big ways even if he wasn’t stuck in time.
Excellent point. While technically Nealfire might not have been one of the most affected by the Curse, for me, his back story is one of the saddest right now because both his parents chose something else over him. He may have been sent to this world right away as a 14 year old boy who has no knowledge at all of the modern world, if the Blue Fairy wasn’t lying about him going to a world without magic, and may have had no choice, in his young mind, but to join up with a rough crowd so that he could survive in whatever situation he may have been in whether that was in the system or living on the streets. Then when he finally gets happiness again in his life and is trying to just leave a regular person’s life by settling down, getting a job and an apartment, he chooses what he feels is the right option by letting that all go which leads to him being alone, separated from his true love and child for over 10 years. (Not to say that he made the right choice and that Emma shouldn’t be mad that he’s the one that got to decide her fate and not her.)
I have this theory that there’s some sort of small network network outside of SB of people who weren’t cursed helping out. I mean it would be August, Bae (Neal), and maybe some others (Dorthy and/or Alice, perhaps?) working with those inside SB who knew like Jefferson and the Blue Fairy. I mean, am I the only one who remembers the stills from hat trick with August and Jefferson–the same ones the producers are trying to pretend never existed?
I’m not quite sure what this network would be doing now that the curse is broken, but that’s kind of where my mind is headed with this.
Speaking of Neal’s decision, I forgot to comment on this before, but I do like this idea as long as they didn’t come off as either too all knowing and helping or conversely too unhelpful and detached. From what Jane Espenson said about Neal’s decision, it does sound like Emma had to go to Storybrooke on her own and break the Curse. Personally I think that since it was fate that if she would have ended up married with Neal living in Tallahassee with Henry and maybe other kids that she would have made it to Storybrooke when she had to, but if the writers are saying that it wouldn’t have worked out that way, then I guess I can’t disagree with them. Anyhow, this could also fit with why these outsiders couldn’t come forward and help Emma in her quest, so they don’t come across as too detached or too unhelpful.
I really, really hope that Neal has a great explanation of where he's been since he didn't get to Storybrooke, and he's sitting in a bar instead. Maybe Neal sent Barrett to go for him if Neal discovered that he can't get through the barrier of Storybrooke.

ParticipantI just saw that Mark Isham put this on his Instagram,
1. Cora does Hook a favor? Probably related to Belle I’m guessing.
2. Cora and Hook hit the town.
3. Main Title (The Cricket Game?)
4. Sore Loser (Present day or could be flashback with Regina being the sore loser in the flashback?)
5. Regina Is Captured (Also could be present day or flashback or perhaps both?)
6. My Wishes (Whose wishes?)
7. Regina parties… (Maybe Archie doesn’t die if Regina is partying. I think Josephine might be hanging around me too much because I read a theory that she wrote at Fan Forums using the impostor idea. It might be too much like what happened with Kathryn, but if they’re going for another murder mystery already after Gus Gus’s murder just happened, then I think it’s possible that they could do another fake out by having someone seem like he/she was murdered but not really. This time Cora makes everyone think that Regina killed Archie only to have him pop again but really be Cora in disguise. Whether the real Archie is dead or not would be something that fans would have to wait and see about.)

π Yeah, and Snow White’s apartment is more like a studio loft, with an open bedroom downstairs. No walls mean Emma and Henry wouldn’t even be able to go downstairs to make breakfast without seeing Mom and Dad/Gram and Gramps naked in full view. π³
OMG! That’s so much funnier and definitely a heck of a lot more awkward. Poor Emma and Henry, lol.
Well maybe if Emma takes Henry on her trip, she’ll be able to give Henry the birds and the bees talk now if he starts to ask Emma questions about why his grandparents are making so much noise. Or maybe Nealfire can do that as a way to bond. π

Participantlol. I think I found the real reason why Emma was so eager to leave her parents again after just getting back from present day Fairy Tale Land. Imagine having to be in the bedroom right beside them in an apartment that probably has thin walls. π

I’m kind of hoping he’s not the white rabbit as well, but i have no good reason for that except I kind think that Nealfire has enough in his life without giving him another FTL identity to go along with it.
Yes, I think that him being Neal and Baelfire is enough, but I’m trying to keep an open mind in case he does turn out to be Peter Pan plus other characters too.
I’m kind of thinking the same about the pics..or maybe this happens AFTER the big blow up and they are going to sit down and talk. Or maybe Emma’s just putting on a show because they are in public or she doesn’t know the person she’s meeting is Neal…
Yes, there’s a lot of explanations as to why they could be smiling.
@auntbee
One of the many reasons i like SwanFire is because I think it will be the only chance Rumple has at growth. He’s not emphatic at all and the only way he cares about the damage he’s done is when it hurts someone close to him. With the shear amount of damage the curse has done to Bae (giving up Emma, Henry) will be the only thing to make him think twice.
Yes, I know after last season when Belle returned, some people were upset because if Rumple got Bae back too, he wouldn’t really have to pay at all for anything that he’s done. I agree with that, but I admit that because of Robert Carlyle’s portrayal and Rumple’s back story, it makes it hard for me at times to be rational about Rumple. Later I realize that it’s not okay for him to just get back Belle and Bae without any real struggle, but sometimes my head gets a bit foggy, and I just want to make everything okay for him.
I’m kind of glad that they’re smiling in the pic. it gives me hope for them and considering how much time I just spent typing up a spew on Tumbalr about why I can’t ship CaptainSwan or Wooden Swan more then them… yeah, they need a happy ending even if it’s a bit off in the distance.
I didn’t realize that was you on Tumblr. I loved that post. Thanks so much for writing it.
