I’m more curious about how Spencer/George got his hands on Ruby’s red cloak. Did he have it since FTL? That left me questioning things, but then again, I supposed it isn’t vital information.
Yes, he is powerful guy in both FTL and Storybrooke, but I didn’t like that he got a hold of two vital pieces of clothing that the heroes need in the same episode without any explanation for how he got a hold of them. Of course, I didn’t really enjoy this episode compared to the other episodes this season. I thought there was too much filler, so that could be clouding my opinion about the whole hat thing too.
The one positive if there can be a positive about the hat story line is that I saw that the Blue Fairy became a suspect on another board, because it might be suspicious that she told David that as long as he had Jefferson’s hat, then his family could return, but lo and behold right before that can happen, somehow Jefferson’s hat winds up with King George. Not that she has to be behind it getting to King George, of course, but it could be one of those clues that people come back to later on if there turns out to be more to her than just being a weak, but benevolent character.
I also think this opens up the door to the other hat that Emma made coming into play if someone ever finds it and realizes what it could do, so that’s a positive too.

I’m not ruling out the possibility just yet either, AntBee. π
Thanks Phee. π
The pics of Hook have been on a roof and in sort of an alleyway with Rumple and Belle, haven’t they? Or have there been more where he’s clearly out in the open? From those shots I’ve seen, I sorta figured he was spying on Rumple from some place he wouldn’t be seen himself, (and that’s the scene where Smee is holding what people are speculating may be Bae’s cloak), and then met Rumple in a slightly secluded spot to be all, “Surprise, sucker!” Though now that I’m thinking of it, no one in SB is gonna recognise Hook anyway, so he wouldn’t necessarily have to hide. The only person in town who has met Hook before, 300 odd years ago, and would recognise him, is Rumple. So once Hook has snuck into town as Emma, he could appear as himself whenever, without causing suspicion.
Yes, that’s what it looks like in the photos to me that he’s in the shadows hiding, which means the theory could still go either way.
Henry and Aurora communicating in the burning room would certainly be a surefire (pun!) way for the SBers to find out if “Snow and Emma” are imposters. They’d have to be asleep at the same time to meet up and discuss that though, which could still buy the imposters a day or so in town before being outed.
Yes, I’m not sure where this fits in if it’s true, but you’re right they could go a number of ways if the theory is true without it being too contrived, I hope. I feel like maybe Cora takes Mulan and Aurora prisoner, which is why we won’t see them for awhile, and maybe Cora could make sure that Aurora didn’t sleep or threatened to kill her if she gave anything away to Henry or David, assuming the latter keeps having the same dreams.
I don’t know how she’d prevent Snow or David communicating to each other, but it just still feels odd if Emma and Snow do leave Aurora and Mulan behind in present day Fairy Tale Land not that the show can’t come up with a solid reason of course. They could communicate through dreams now I guess, but you’re right when you wrote before if those two are left behind, they become irrelevant imo, especially Mulan right now because at least Aurora was involved in the dream storyline, which seems odd because they’ve focused so much on these two this season only to just leave them when we haven’t even had their character-centric episodes yet. We’re also supposed to see the Giant again which seems odd if Emma and Snow are already back in Storybrooke. I guess he could appear in a flashback or maybe Cora and Hook go after him for the bean to revive, but I’m thinking it’s actually the opposite, that Emma has to go back to him for help and get the last bean to try to revive it to get back to Storybrooke.
Plus, as cliche as it might be to some people, for me I think it would raise the stakes more, with King George looking like he’s out of the picture now, and Hook not really being all that villainous yet, I think this season is is missing out right now on anyone or anything really seeming threatening. We do have Cora, but so far she’s been sort of MIA, except hopefully in “Into the Deep”, she gets her evil game on because after “Child of the Moon”, I realized that I really miss Rumple and Regina as the main villains since last year they really made the show worth watching, imo, even when an episode was just filler. I understand that the characters have to evolve so that it doesn’t get stale just being the good guys vs. Rumple vs. Regina, but right now there seems to be a definite vacuum, imo. Even if Cora is still out there if Emma and Snow truly do arrive to Storybrooke first, I think it would give the good guys plus Rumple and Regina to work together to defeat her. I want to see them scramble and get blind-sided so that Cora seems like a true threat, not that that can’t happen if the impostor theory doesn’t happen, but I think it would definitely create more drama if true.

That’s true. Combined with the pictures of Hook in Storybrooke, I think the imposter ship has sunk, at least in my opinion.
We’ll see. I’m not ready to give up on it yet, even though I admit it is looking bleak now.

To appreciate what a nice guy MRJ is
I loved how he said he shipped us all; although, I sort of worry too because there’s some crazy people out there that could take him seriously.
He does seem like such a sweetheart. I know a couple of weeks ago he wished forum poster, OuaterBox, a Happy Birthday on Twitter, but I haven’t seen her since that time to congratulate her.
Can they just make him a main cast member already???? π
Yes! Of course I want to see Neal/Emma, but right now I just want MRJ back on OUaT or at the very least like to know when he’s coming back. I thought he filmed in Vancouver when they were filming episodes 8 or 9, but it could have been for another project.
After we get our Baelfire episode, I bet they’ll make him a regular.

ParticipantSomewhat new information about Barrett; although this spoiler refers to him as Bennett. http://tvline.com/2012/11/06/supernatural-spoilers-glee-girl-meets-world/
Question: Once Upon a Time scoop, please?! Maybe info on who Ethan Embry is playing? βElyse Ausiello: Officially, heβs playing a mysterious Storybrooke visitor. Unofficially, Embry fits the description of a character named Bennett that the show was recently casting. The mid-30s guy next door-type is sweet, charming, intelligent and funny β at least on the surface. Beneath the surface, he possesses a darkness, as well as a willingness to fight to the bitter end for his beliefs and (this is where things get interesting) to prove that his way of life is in the right. What does it all mean?!?!

ParticipantHere’s a link to more information about the wanted poster, http://tricksandtreachery.tumblr.com/post/35130220385/neal-cassidy-is-baelfire-i-think. I found it very helpful.
I think the most significant thing is that he was born in 1977, then he would have come here in 1991, which was when Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was released, and this would tie in with the Easter egg in Neal’s apartment with the NoMeanNo album having the song “Beauty and the Beast” on it.
Can’t really find anything about New Jersey like the person who wrote out everything either, but their flag does have a flame on it.
.
Their motto is “Liberty and Prosperity” too which I find ironic if Neal is Bae because he’s not have very much of either in his life.

Good point. and if you pay attention to the way he says “Magic is everywhere” it seems like telling a kid in our world that they were going to a world without water–just because they hated stromes, doesn’t mean they never played in a puddle.
Ha, I thought I recognized your name from Fan Forums, but it was actually here! Thank you so much for your story. I loved it. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8678188/1/Stardust
ETA: Someone or several people perhaps have already tweeted Jane Espenson with the correct answer. It could still be anything, but I’m hoping it was the drawing of the dagger in the box.

ETAA: Here’s even more Jane Espenson spoilers mostly about the box, http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3209355&view=findpost&p=15338134
-She said what was in the box was both a “big… shiny… red… mystery” and then a “little.. shiny… mystery”.
-She seemed to imply that a potential Regina-Love-Arc was going to happen in the future. I could see this sense Daniel told Regina to “love again.”
-She said it wasn't Pinocchio's/August's fault that he gave into temptation because “he's just built that way.”
-She implied that August went back for Emma because of guilt, not because of a directive from someone else, but left this open ended.
-She would only say Neal “believed quickly” but wouldn't disclose if he had a FTL connection or not; this was as far as she would describe his connection to the object in the box.
-She confirmed that Aurora and Henry had the same dream.
-The reason August didn't tell Emma about her destiny is that he “doesn't deal with responsibility well.”I agree with the poster that wrote this that it's either a heart, the picture of a dagger, or perhaps both right now.
Interesting about August doing so out of guilt and not because the Blue Fairy contacted him, but there's wiggle room there since she left the answer open ended.

Well the sword did say “Jack” on it, so it’d be hard not to pick out that particular corpse. I think there’s a chance that maybe he had some involvement, but I think he’s more likely familiar because he is one of the humans who stole beans from the giants before they stopped making them. Which is why he would have had a bean for Smee to find on the ship.
Yes, I don’t think that Hook was a veteran of any Giant wars, he just knew about them because of how famous Jack was.
I do have a theory though as to why Jorge Garcia might pop back up. Since in the original story, the Giant had a wife, but in this story he didn't have anyone, I think that Team Princess will find another giant probably the only other one in existence, who will also happen to be a female, and the Giant will owe Emma another favor which will be giving her a magic bean since I think there are beans left. Just a feeling because Team Princess will need to find some way back to Storybrooke if the impostor theory is true, and I think that either there's more beans or the one around the Giant's neck might actually still be able to work.
