ParticipantYeah, I’ve seen that theory floating around, as well. Like the characters will regain have regained their FTL memories and lost their SB memories but are still in SB. Personally, I think the characters will have both sets of memories and will need to learn how to integrate them much like amnesiacs.

ParticipantI could also see Jennifer Coolidge playing a character like Ursula. But my roommate says that would be too many Jennifers on the show.

ParticipantThe #7 question is one I’ve actually wondered myself. Why didn’t the royal family invite Maleficent to the celebration? Was it because she was considered evil before or was it after her cursing Aurora that she’s labeled as such? I like how it’s pointed out that everyone in the kingdom but Maleficent was invited. There had to be some real rotten eggs among the populace, was Maleficent the worse?

Participanteonline had some interesting suggestions as far as characters. Robin Hood wasn’t one of my favorite Disney movies but that’s because it was anthropomorphized. If it had human characters, I would like it more. But I can see Robin Hood characters being used, perhaps alongside other British/English stories Disney has done such as “The Sword in the Stone” and “The Black Cauldron”. Of course, Robin Hood would have to be made out to be lots better than the Huntsman.

ParticipantAfter reading up on some fairy tales, I would actually like to see Fairer-than-a-Fairy. The main reason is because it is actually one of the lesser known fairy tales that makes sense (i.e. not too hard to follow). Plus, it would actually be nice to see some more involvement from the fairies in a show based on fairy tales. Of course, the title of the story is also the name of the main character and her Prince/True Love is named Rainbow so that may need to be changed, but I can’t believe the story itself is not better known.

ParticipantKristen Bell should play the Snow Queen … even if she will be voicing the character in Disney’s animated take on the fairy tale due out Thanksgiving 2013.

ParticipantYou may also want to check out The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. It’s about a boy trying to deal with the loss of his mother, his father’s new wife and the son they have together, and adventures he has with “stories that are real”. The main antagonist is based on Rumpelstiltskin.
Other Books I’ve read and suggest, just to get them all out of the way:
The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue – described as a modern day fairy tale based on the poem of the same name written by William Butler Yeats.
The Child Thief by Brom – a darkly illustrated retelling of Peter Pan and The Lost Boys
Faerie Tale by Raymond Feist – a modern dark fantasy novel of fairies and changelings
As you can see, I have an avid interest in stories regarding changeling children, thus I await
Some Kind of Fairy Tale by Graham Joyce which is being released in July.arjay369
ParticipantEpisode 1×17 – Hat Trick
(Regina arrives at the station. Inside, she is surprised to find Mary Margaret sitting in her cell reading the newspaper.)
Mary Margaret: Madam Mayor.
Regina: Good morning.
(Mr. Gold appears.)
Mr. Gold: Excuse me, but my client is not having any visitors.
Regina: Of course not.
Mr. Gold: I’ll see you out.
(Mr. Gold and Regina go out into the hall.)
Regina: What is she doing here?
Mr. Gold: She came back.
Regina: You said this was going to work. That she’d take the key, that she’d go.
Mr. Gold: And she did. But, it seems that Miss Swan is rather more resourceful than we thought. Fear not, Your Majesty. Miss Blanchard is still guilty of murder. You may yet get what you want.
Regina: Oh, I better. The only reason I made a deal with you, Gold, is because I wanted results.
Mr. Gold: And results you shall have. See you at the arraignment.Episode 1×18 – The Stable Boy
(Regina is in her office fiddling with a ring. She holds it to her lips, when Mr. Gold enters.)
Mr. Gold: Remembrance of things past?
Regina: What do you want?
Mr. Gold: I need a favour.(‘One Week Ago’)
Regina: You need a favour from me?
Mr. Gold: Well, as you know, there are battery charges against me…pending. I really don’t relish the thought of spending any more time locked up in a cage. Now, someone with your influence can make the D.A. suddenly realize what a flimsy case they have. Isn’t that right… Your Majesty?
Regina: What do I get out of it?
Mr. Gold: Help, with your Mary Margaret problem. You see, I’ve noticed that no matter how hard you seem to try to stop them, she and her ‘charming’ friend just keep finding ways to be together.
Regina: What are you suggesting?
Mr. Gold: If you want to inflict pain… Then you must inflict pain. If something tragic were to happen to David’s wife, and if Mary Margaret should take the blame-
Regina: She’d be ruined.
Mr. Gold: And you’d have your victory, at last.
Regina: A trial could be very messy.
Mr. Gold: A trial? Who said anything about a trial? Now, once Miss Blanchard has been incarcerated, you can plant one of your lovely skeleton keys in her cell. And, once she tries to leave Storybrooke, well… We all know what happens to people who attempt to leave town.
Regina: Give me one good reason why I should trust you.
Mr. Gold: Because I always honour my agreements. Do we have a deal?Episode 1×20 – The Return
(Regina and Mr. Gold are in Mr. Gold’s Pawn Shop.)
Regina: You broke our deal.
Mr. Gold: I broke one deal in my life, dear. And it certainly wasn’t this one.
Regina: Kathryn was supposed to die, and Mary Margaret was to get the blame.
Mr. Gold: Yeah, murder seems so much worse here, though, doesn’t it? You can’t just turn someone into a snail and then step on them, can you? You didn’t say ‘kill her’. We agreed that something tragic should happen to her. Now, abduction is tragic.
Regina: The intent was perfectly clear.
Mr. Gold: Oh, let’s not talk about intent. Intent is meaningless.
Regina: Intent is everything.
Mr. Gold: Please.
Regina: This is going to raise all kinds of questions about where she was and how the test results were fake.
Mr. Gold: Oh, yes. And, um… And who put the key in her cell.
Regina: It’s all going to lead to me, isn’t it? You bastard. This doesn’t make any sense. You and I – we’ve been in this, together, from the start.
Mr. Gold: Oh, have we?
Regina: You created the curse for me. The curse that brought us here, and built all this.
Mr. Gold: Yes, it’s about time you said thank you.
Regina: Why did you do it?
Mr. Gold: Well, you’re a smart woman, Your Majesty. Figure it out.arjay369

Hmm…Kitsis only listed Emma, Snow, Charming and Rumpel as the show’s “core” characters. I hope that wasn’t a clue that something bad will happen to Regina. 😮
Well, Lana Parilla did recieve an Emmy nomination as a supporting actress and not a lead. I’m of the thought that anything can happen to supporting roles.

I’m curious to know if Regina knew that Henry was “the savior’s son” before she adopted Henry.
It’s revealed in the 2nd episode “The Thing You Love Most”, in dialogue between Regina and Mr. Gold, that Regina did not know who Henry was or where he came from or who Emma was. This is before “Skin Deep” where Regina confirmed her suspicions that Mr.Gold remembered his true self but, in the 2nd episode as well, worried about the clock starting, Henry having the book, and Emma’s relation to Henry, Regina does flat out ask Mr. Gold if he wanted Emma to come to SB and if he knew she was Henry’s mother, and who Emma was. To the question about Emma herself, Mr. Gold says to Regina “I would say you think you know exactly who she is.”
