I think a good Rumbelle video could be done to Patsy Cline’s “Stand By Your Man” or Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire”
If you want to go country then a good choice is Pam Tillis – The River and the Highway

I think she took Belle on her journey back to her father’s, not immediately after, but along the way. I imagine she was on her journey home when she stopped at the pub in “Dreamy”. I think she was snatched afterward. We already imagine she would be leary of Regina if she met her again, so she was probably tricked somehow. I don’t believe she ever even made it back to her father. Or maybe she did make it back to her father and Regina made a deal with him. Somehow I feel that she was nabbed in EF, not in Storybrooke.
The one thing I’ve noticed is the curse didn’t alter family connections. In SB, Red and Granny are still related, Hansel and Gretel are still siblings and their father is the same person, Sean/Thomas still has the same father. Maybe that’s anothet reason Regina had Jefferson locked in the manor, Paige/Grace would know he’s her father. That would mean she’s living with a foster family in SB. Perhaps Paige was told that her father died or left. If that is the case, then the curse wouldn’t have affected the family ties between Belle and her father. If Gold doesn’t know about Belle, then he was beating Moe French in response to what Regina told him in FTL. If Gold does know about Belle, then he was beating Moe French because he believes he should have protected her in SB.

Then how do you explain Belle’s appearance in “Dreamy?” She was free and cleary not in any real danger. I don’t think Regina captured Belle immediately after she left Rumpel’s palace.
That’s actually something I was thinking about. I don’t understand how/why she was there. Some characters just seem to pop up in random places like they’re really not supposed to be there. I had the same feeling with the latest appearance of Bae’s friend, Morraine. She shows up when Rumpel leaves Bae and leaves when Rumpel returns. I’m still suspicious of both of these characters in their respective later appearances.

You maybe mistaken about Ella/ Ashley’s baby. Sean’s father paid Gold to take the baby so his son did not have to be financially responsible for Alexandra. Sean and his father look like they have money and Ashley seems poor. The fear is that she may be a golddigger. I do agree with everthing else though.
Well, that may have been what it seemed like in SB, but I can’t imagine the recieving party would be different in FTL. I wish there weren’t so many things that haven’t been answered yet, hehe.

ParticipantThat can be a possibilty. If Cora is the miller’s daughter then, if the original story is followed, she beat Rumpel and didn’t have to give up the child. Perhaps afterwards she made another deal with Rumpel on her terms, the same child in exchange for power? If that’s the case, maybe that explains Rumpel’s interest in children. He would place them in situations where they would rise to royal positions or make deals with royalty who wanted children. Like with Charming’s father.
Also, a possible similar situation, in the episode about Ella/Ashley, in FTL, Rumpel’s price for Ella is her firstborn. In SB, according to Mr. Gold and his contract, the person who wants the baby is Sean’s father. From what we’ve seen, Rumpel’s deals involving children aren’t for him to keep the child, they’re an exchange item for someone wanting something else. Like Ruth who wanted to help her husband keep the farm and the King and Queen who couldn’t have children. Sean’s father asked if she knew why they hired her. He said it was for the baby. If the contracts/deals are the same in both FTL and SB, then that would mean Thomas’s father wanted a child and it so happened that it would have been Thomas and Ella’s. That’s just a thought going round my head.
But if that is the case, then it would fit with the theory that Rumpel seems to be putting these children in place to attain high positions. Maybe that’s what Rumpel did with Cora’s first child – Rumpel visited Wonderland, made a deal with some royal there who wanted a child and gave them Cora’s.

ParticipantYeah, they have a lot to say. There’s an animosity between them that hasn’t been shown yet on the series. I’d really like to see the shared story behind these two.

Hopefully this show will last for more than two seasons. The writers will be faced with the challenge of keeping the story from becoming stale.
There is still plenty of material to use and I think we’ve seen possibilities in a few episodes this season. I believe the SW/PC story is just about covered, though we will have more of MM/David to see. I’m theorizing another FTL couple will be the focus of Season 2, such as Ella/Thomas and their story.
Does anyone else think that eventually there might be a chance for redemption for Regina? … I’m wondering if Regina will be killed off or reformed to make way for a new evil?
Regina may be on the road to redemption but it may be a long, rocky one at that. She’s in a similar way to Rumpel in that she’s has almost lost everything to magic and her desire for vengeance. Up to epi 21, she has lost the last of her magic, the last token of Daniel’s memory, and possibly Henry. It may all depend on the survival of the latter. Regina enacted the curse by taking the life of Henry, her father. The question at this point is, has she changed enough to keep the curse and her vengeance from taking the life of Henry, her son?
Perhaps Mr. Gold could rise as the main villain eventually if everyone’s happy endings get in the way of his own?
I think that would likely be the only way Mr. Gold would be a villain on the show. He would probably do anything to find Bae, even if it meant razing SB.

ParticipantI have found that Rumpel is honest in that he doesn’t lie. He does tell the truth. He may not tell the whole truth, he may omit parts of the truth, he may not be completely open about specifics or details, but he does not lie or alter the truth. In fact, you could say the only person he’s lied to is himself whenever he is confronted with situations that cause conflict between attaining personal happiness and keeping his powers. Rumpel’s cowardice in these areas is a lie to himself that he doesn’t have the courage to be happy.

If I am not correct they never said the Blue Fairy was on the good side but the right side. What is the right side because for all we know it could be the bad side while the wrong side maybe the good side.
Agreed. Right and wrong are subjective concepts, almost like personal opinions. Good and bad are more along the lines of moral/ethical behavior.

What I do wonder is why did he make it so that Emma dying would break the curse and yet he hasnt tried to kill her.
That’s what I’ve been thinking and can’t for the life of me come up with a solid reason why he wouldn’t take the opportunity. He seems to be perfectly happy letting Regina and Emma duke it out. Maybe he has faith that Emma will beat Regina.
There are a couple things I have considered. The first is that Emma is the “savior” therefore she can be seen as the champion or hero of this story and perhaps if the curse can be broken and people can leave SB, then Gold can look to Emma for assistance in finding Bae.
Secondly, there’s the matter of the favor Emma owes Gold and that could go a few ways. If Gold doesn’t call on the favor regarding Belle, then he would call it in following the aftermath of the curse being broken. Gold could ask Emma to help him find Bae.
Or, even more dramatic, he can cash in the favor and have Emma be his protector. I say that because if people in SB would regain their memories regarding Regina, then what’s to keep them from remembering who Gold really is. Perhaps, that’s why Gold was already making “travel plans.” Aside from him wanting to look for Bae, there’d also be a price on his head. That would be a dramatic element in the show – the savior of the FTL characters, now protecting their greatest enemy.
