If that´s the case, well… I don´t know xD
But A and E certainly like to do the unexpected. Besides, since they are taking into account all of Wonderland´s universe, and they just have one season to explore their ideas and said universe, I think there is a fair chance they are going to use the White Queen. We have almost all of the iconic characters from Alice in Wonderland I think, because they have tried to use them all. And if Jafar is dead and Anastasia will not regain the throne, maybe Wonderland will get a new ruler. Would be cool if it were the actual White Queen.
Now, to be fair, we really don´t know a lot about Lizard so as to care if she gets the throne. The only way for that to be corrected would be if they gave us more backstory, maybe through a flashback. But again, yes, this is just speculation. Just that I think this is actually pretty cool and intriguing speculation. xD

The reviwer speculates that maybe Jafar manages to change the laws of magic and the heroes manage to revive Lizard with a wish, even going as far as leaving her as Wonderland´s new ruler, the White Queen: Queen Elizabeth.

Random thought: What if WW didn´t cast the curse? What if Neal cast it? Or Belle? Wasn´t there something about Neal going the same road his father went in order to get back his family?
Is it just me or I´m really getting a Freddy Krueger vibe from the secon pic in the OP?
I really wanted Cruella to show up, but now that I have seen Mader as the WWW I´m actually pretty excited.
Another question: How did the Storybook ended up with MM? She said she was cleaning her aparment like she does usually, and then she found the book. I know this has been a mystery since S1, but the book has been brought up again in the last two episodes. Could it be a sign we are getting to know the author´s identity finally?
I must admit, I thought the Blue Fairy put it there. In the flashback she said she was pretty confident that things will work out in the end. When Snow White asked her how could she be so sure, the Blue Fairy said she had hope. But I think she knew more than she was letting on. For a moment I thought she had the book in mind.
Or maybe I am overthinking her words. Maybe the WWW wrote it for all we know.
I am thorn. I think the Black Fairy is Maleficent or the Wicked Witch of the West.
These months are going to be SO HARD without our OUAT fix. The “One Year Later” made my heart sink. Could this be some sort of reboot… It kinda feels like going back to S1, but not in the way anyone expected. Let´s see what A and E have in store for us.
I still think is going to be Cruella. After all, they said the villain is Disney´s and even has a theme song. Well… Cruella does have a theme song. You know, the kind with actual lyrics mentioning the character´s name. It is pretty iconic. And it´s Disney´s. What´s more, A and E said that the second half of S3 was going to focus just on Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest.
I know Cruella might not seem like she can be a Big Bad, but let´s not forget that this is OUAT. This is the show that turned Peter Pan into a villain and Rumple´s sinister father. You never know what is going to be the next big twist. This is the show that tends to blow everyone´s minds. I wouldn´t put it past them making Cruella into something more sinister.
On the other hand, going with the clues eonline.com has been droping, I can only think of other two female Disney villains that have their own theme song of sorts and that´s Mother Gothel (Mother Knows Best) and Ursula (Poor Unfortunate Souls). But A and E said in an interview sometime before the S3 premire that they had three characters showing up sometime in the future. The characters that they mentioned were Ursula, Rapunzel and (yes) Cruella De Vil. Of the three we already have seen Ursula, we have an actress confirmed in the role of Rapunzel… and news of an actress set to play “one of the best female villians of all time, and not just in recent Disney history. (And that) even has her own theme music”.
Sounds like Cruella De Vil. And you know what they say: if she doesn´t scare you, no evil thing will.
