The glass memory people were weird to me as well. They were theoretically people being removed at the moment of their deaths so they could copy their memories into their system… Except… Bill didn’t die in the end, so she should have had a lot more memories post-Doctor, and possibly been older. Surely she didn’t still die young…
Glass-Bill and Water-Bill could both be snapshots of Original-Bill from a moment before her first body’s death.
The Rusty addition was also weird. Why did Rusty hate The Doctor so much suddenly? It’s not like they parted on bad terms… And I felt like if they were going to bring back a one-off character from Capaldi’s run, there are SO MANY MORE memorable ones than Rusty. In my opinion.
I think it’s a sci-fi version of smashing the mirror. Take your most shameful secret memory. Multiply its strength a million-billionfold. Now imagine there’s one other person — just one — who peered into your mind and saw the shame that’s the source of all your self-loathing. Can you look that person in the eye?
I’m sort of interested in how Jodie’s Doctor is going to survive the whole falling out of the TARDIS thing, but I’m mostly vaguely annoyed that they put a bit in there where the TARDIS is literally rejecting her. If it had been another regeneration into a man, it wouldn’t have had the same feeling, but it kind of gives a feeling of “See? Even the TARDIS doesn’t want a woman”.
I think it was a reference to the last time the show rejuvenated itself by changing both Doctor and showrunner. It kind of works as a birth metaphor.
I’m a fan of both this and Sherlock so seeing Mark (The Captain) was a treat. I generally enjoy the companion callbacks. *wipes eyes* I think I forgot about Rusty for like several moments..then was like..ooh the one with the ponds and Clara? ..yeah, I think *squints* or something like that.
It did remind me of Eleven’s debut yes.

[adrotate group="5"]I saw the supposedly older Henry is dressing like Hook floating around. I don’t know how they see that. Though, seriously, every time anyone wears leather it is somehow like Hook even though all the characters wear leather now and then and really is is Emma that is iconic for it. Also, Henry is clearly being styled like the next prince charming which is a take of after Charming and like Neal with his average guy clothes. Henry is now the regular person going down the rabbit hole. It made me feel better that someone said Hook is a grandpa now and Colin was surprised by this fact because it isn’t really real and we can hope it isn’t part of the show. Henry and Hook will probably be “friends”, but we can hope that is it.
I thought his outfit was very charmingquse. I was very happy with the August mention. I really wanted those two to pal around more ya know.
I don’t know who that is. Who’s Henry?! Henry Henry Henry. I can’t stand how the show has dismissed him as relevant to Emma’s story. HE broke her walls. HE was the one who really changed her heart. It wasn’t Neal. It wasn’t Hook. To lesser extents, yes, we can talk about MM and the grand town of SB and its inhabitants who adopted the little orphan girl…BUT IT WAS HENRY. HENRY.
They really need to go back to this. even I can see that Hook was shoved down our throats and Henry has been put by the wayside, even though it was Henry who “saved” Emma.

I used to say and i guess i was right. Emma is really the new Milah, i talked to someone about this, and in this path they chosed for Emma, i know think the writers regret making Henry as Emma son, bc he doesnt fit on the “hot and sexy” couple. And in a way no henry would avoid the whole elephant in the room they keep avoiding with the Rumple and henry relationship, bc they seem like they are not even related at this point.
*pardon me while I rant a little* Bloody fricking Pirate ruins everything he touch augggghhh. *unintellegable noises curls up in sad ball under the sad tent again* # the catch line, the hearts in two etc…nuuu. noo noonooooooo.

As I’ve held Morgana-is-the-Black-Fairy as a headcanon dear to my heart essentially since the first mention in 3×11, I’m glad y’all are finally on the same page. I’m going to be devastated if she’s not in season five, honestly. It’s probably strange, but I think personally the question that’s nagging me most about Merlin is that I really wonder what type of actor they’re going to cast. His Apprentice was an old, stately man with a beard; I’d just be surprised if Merlin was, too, I guess.
Well there is a thing in some tales lik t h whites th once and future king where merlin ages backwards way before Benjamin button. So there’s that now excuse me whilst my Arthurian Nerd side does a mini happy dance .

I don’t believe there was any merit in what Snow and Charming did. I do, however, think that Emma overreacted to it. One, everything that Emma has known about the Charmings as heroes has been after this event. This was not something that happened last week and they’ve been hiding it from her. It was something they did “years” ago which caused them great shame and they have recently struggled to come clean with Emma about it. The Charmings distinguished themselves from the villains by showing the capacity to immediately reflect and show regret not because they suffered a negative consequence (Rumple) but because they recognize they did something wrong in itself and harmed another person(s). As much as I’m smitten with Hook, notice that he had no intention of giving Ursula her voice back until he wanted something from her. Given the list of truly evil things Regina, Rumple, and Hook have done, I’m surprised that the Charmings are being given much harsher treatment, both by Emma and “the show” in general. While Emma has every right to be horrified by their choice, and disappointed with their sneaking around, Snow and Charming have not so much betrayed her as they’ve disappointed her. I think the lesson for Emma in all of this is that no one can live on a pedestal. She has to live in a world where even heroes fall, and she has to be able to trust even knowing that, more likely than not, she will be disappointed at one point or another. I feel like the writers over-rely on Emma’s trust issues/background, so I hope they go more in the direction of Emma learning gradations of trust and character realism rather than this justifying Emma going dark.

ehehe iam getting excited (maybe cause Charming family CUTENESS and I really like the actress they picked for Elsa. And YAY it’s SUNNY! and bye bye hook’s jacket (at least for the moment. Leather only tends to break off when it’s really old and used btw. course not lot of stuff can endure time vortex winds without protection of some sort. ) and aww jared. bless. (hmm the dwarfs have pickaxes that can cut diamonds betcha they can deal with magic ice nicely)

She was very awesome on Fringe (I was reminded of Emma on so many levels man I kid you not.)
Spoilers below for Fringe’s last season as I have no idea how to do the black spoiler thing. I’d be grateful if someone taught me pretty please.
So Peter and Oliver’s Daughter get kidnapped and ends up in the future helping out the rebels of the dystopia. And she eventually becomes like the face of the resistance after she gets killed but there able to do some timey wimey stuff to fix the timeline. They is a lovely family unit with grandpa Walter, peter Olivia , Etta and Astrid their friend/colleege/ Walters assistant who also helps take care of him like the rest of them (as he used to be in a pysch ward and was a teen of the 60’s .) and there’s Boyle’s whose the head of the FBI of which Oliva’s an agent etc. (there’s also an alternate world/mirror dimension with there doubles it’s cray cray some time but it’s worth it )
