ParticipantMe too Heather! I’m really annoyed that a lot of things are being glossed over because everything’s fine “now” – certain things should be acknowledged even if they have been put in the past! The Graham thing in particular is infuriating because it was supposedly cut from something a long time ago. It’s been TWO YEARS and we still don’t have her saying it. *sniff* (There are lots of other things too but it annoys me with all of them) I do think it’ll be something about the curse though, more than likely.
OH I so agree, I’ve been saying the same elsewhere. It’s like just cause SOME people have short term memories doesn’t mean we all do. And there are things that have story/character relevant beats that would just make things richer if they just mention them. Plus yes it’s been a very long time.

ParticipantThis to me is one of the great ONCE mysteries: how do the stories we know get to us when they are obviously so very different in the ONCEiverse. Snow didn’t know how to defeat the Medusa, she just thought she could cut off its head and ship it to Regina. So there is no Perseus, that we can tell. But there were the elements of the story–including using a shield to defeat the Medusa. And Snow takes the place of Perseus. But then how did WE ge the story passed down to us as Persues’s defeat of Medusa? I hope they tackle that someday.
As do I, unless there like primal forces or something like in Percy Jackson where they can be slain but can come back after a certain amount of time. *scratches head and ponders* The worlds have to be connected in more than one way. I have a theory that’s rather like with Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell’s thoughts of how there’s a collective ‘cauldron’ if you will in the human collective consciences and that Stories and elements, symbols etc echo through all sorts of things. Permeates like water if you will throughout and in various cultures and places even when their separated from each other by long distances. But they still have things in common or connections they or we don’t know about.

Yeah, even if he had no prior knowledge of Blue, just reading the book would have given him the hint that she’d help everyone find a way out of a NewCurse, so it makes sense he’d have to eliminate her. I’m not convinced that “dead is dead” will necessarily apply in this case. they can get around it with Blue having been technically an immortal fairy, even if she’s currently in human form. We’ve been speculating that Rumple will be mostly dead and Belle will revive him, so if that is gonna happen with the most powerful dark magic person in the next ep, then I could see them doing the same thing with the most powerful light magic person as well. Also, considering pics that have been put out there recently, I’m confident we haven’t seen the last of blue. (quote)
And am totes on board with something like that happening.

ParticipantIt is a bummer, but the shadows are still out there so there’s still hope. It got a shady feeling though about the whole thing, I think Pan’s got more motive than just distraction and to knock out a big magical user. the want for backstory has become a ever growing need.
