And of course hook made the duo into a trio, I think Neal and Emma would have been fine without Hook but I guess its sitll too soon for swanfire fans to get a team up.
I don’t like that Hook didn’t apologize after the whole thing. Both he and Neal were acting childish and Emma had every right to just nail them to the wall. But Neal stepped up, in good form one might say,and apologized.
I’m glad that Neal apologized. It shows his true character and that he is recognizing when he is making mistakes. I think it shows character growth and a level a maturity about him. I love that Neal isn’t putting any pressure on Emma. Just being there and letting her know that he will be there and be reliable.
And when are Hook and Neal going to have the real heart to heart talk. They really need to do it seriously. I need CaptianFire like now!!
Can I also say how cute were Tink and Neal! They were so happy to see each other. But I thought in a more platonic way like old friends and buddies not romantic in any way. That would have been weird since you know Neal was just a kid of 14 when they met…

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantActually part me feels that Hook outward mourning was his attempt to try and bond with Emma. And he doesn’t seem to really be there for Henry at all, its more I want Emma so I’ll play nice with her son so I can get her???
That’s what I’m starting to wonder. Was Hook really mourning Bae or was he putting a bit of a show on for Emma? He did keep Bae’s sword for several hundreds of years and was willing to give up everything for him so I have to say that he must have felt something for Bae. But maybe that Bae’s all grown up, he might be looking differently at him?

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantIt is really bothering me that in 222 they showed Hook turning around for BOTH Emma and NEAL but lately it’s all Emma. As if he’s totally forgotten that just a few episodes ago he was mourning Bae like a son.
What if Hook did mourn Bae, but he acted that way more to commiserate with Emma so that they could get closer and bond over his death? I know that sounds kind of creepy and sneaky on Hook’s part (and I don’t really think that) but it was just a thought.

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantI think I actually cringed at some the Hook and Emma parts. I don’t think he was being gentlemanly at all in the end. At first he seemed okay but then talking to Emma in the forest and then fighting over lighting the candle. He just got on my nerve. And did he even apologize for fighting with Neal in dark hollow? I’m pretty sure Neal apologized twice! Once after they finally got the shadow and then again before they all went to go after Henry. He knew it was wrong to be fighting with Hook but I get it that he almost couldn’t help it. He just found out that the love of his life was just kissing the man that had also been in a relationship with his mother. It’s got to be weird to him and I’m sure he doesn’t want to have lost both his mother and the mother of his son to the same guy. I felt for Neal this episode. But Emma was completely justified in her yelling at both men and setting them straight. I did not like how she called after Hook but not for Neal when the shadow took them both. I hope she is still adjusting to Neal being back. I felt bad for Emma too because all she wants to focus on is Henry and that’s all that she feels like she has room in her heart for. 🙁

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantI saw this today and thought of you all! I didn’t know where to post it and thought this thread would work? Hopefully it hasn’t been posted before… Happy Once day!! 🙂

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantSo do we think that Emma will have one on one conversations with both guys which ultimately leads to her reading the riot act to both guys and declaring that she will only ever choose Henry or something like that? Or will they be arguing with each other in front of her? Any ideas?

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantI just wanted to say that I love you all and you all always seem to brighten my day a little. 🙂
I’ve personally had some hard times these past few months so it’s been nice to come somewhere I can be distracted and chat about a show that I love and see everyone else’s opinions on things. I also wanted to thank those of you that shed a different perspective on the whole flower tattoo thing. But that’s why I brought it up, I was hoping someone would give me another take on it and you have. So thanks for that. I love discussing Swanfire with all of you. I just wanted to say thanks how great you all are!
*cookies and hugs for all*

"Because... it was born out of true love."astrawoidParticipantSo I saw this today and it kind of starting giving me doubts as to whether or not the writers are trying to subtly tell us something.
The flower on the right is a buttercup. I don’t think there has been any confirmation if the flower is suppose to be a buttercup or not but it looks very similar. And I think JMO has said that if she was to pick a princess, she would pick Buttercup. But I don’t know what interview she said that in, so maybe I’m just remember wrong about that. And then of course there was that line in Good Form where Hook says to Emma, “As you wish.” There are probably other parallels you could make with Princess Bride. But my question is, does that matter? Should it matter? Westley and Buttercup are an iconic example of true love. Are the writers giving us parallels because that’s what they want us to think about Hook and Emma or is it all a red herring? Thoughts?
